00:12according to Bloomberg. The Commerce Department had imposed export controls on June 12th,
00:18requiring Anthropic to get U.S. permission before allowing foreign nationals to access
00:22Fable 5 and Mythos 5. Anthropic disabled the models while it worked with officials.
00:28The company said Tuesday that Commerce lifted curbs on both models
00:32after some Mythos restrictions were eased on June 26th.
00:36Anthropic said it is redeploying Fable 5 with new classifiers to block more cybersecurity tasks.
00:42Global access to Fable 5 will begin Wednesday,
00:45with cloud access through Amazon, Google, and Microsoft to follow as quickly as possible.
00:50Access to Mythos 5 has been restored for some U.S. organizations.
