17:22My inspiration for killer dolls is like a vintage doll that you'd find in your grandmother's attic or basement.
17:30The materials I'm using is thermoplastic that is activated in warm water, and then you can pull it out and
17:37start shaping it.
17:38I'm gonna use my Lifecast nose to match more of my prop.
17:43I want more of a fun nose.
17:45If the plastic starts to cool down, I can use a torch lighter really quick, and it really just takes
17:52it back to its original form.
17:54I can keep molding it downward.
17:57You can see it's starting to fit my nose a little bit better.
18:00Long way to go.
18:03For my killer dolls this week, I am inspired by a classic beauty pageant doll.
18:07She is the Little Miss runner-up.
18:09She was never quite the winner, which is why they had to stop selling her, because nobody wanted to buy
18:13the loser.
18:14So, she came back to life to kill the competition and be the ultimate winner.
18:18So, I just like to take little strands of hair like this, and then a little adhesive, and I like
18:23to apply it to the actual, like, latex scalp.
18:26And then once I'm done with that, I go over it with a lot of red to make it look
18:29like it's literally been ripped right out of their heads.
18:31Because you don't want it to look too clean.
18:35So, my inspiration for killer dolls is a marionette doll.
18:39I'm using a lot of satin, a lot of wire, a lot of card, and heaps of spikes and rhinestones.
18:45I usually use q-tips, but I have this little pencil thingy.
18:49And then I'm just going to lick.
18:50Do you lick it?
18:51I don't know.
18:52I just did.
18:52And then you pick it up, and you just...

19:08I'm doing a Peruvian voodoo doll, so if Desiree died and found Damballa, she's going back to her roots.
19:15When I was six months-years-old, I was sent to Peru because my mom found my dad cheating on
19:19her.
19:20And I was raised with my stepsister.
19:21When I was 10, my dad took me back.
19:24I didn't know he was my dad, but he took me back.
19:26And that was very traumatic because I was kind of really taken away from the family that I learned and
19:31grew from.
19:32So my look today is drawing inspiration from my Peruvian culture and my American culture,
19:36and kind of fusing together and creating a killer doll.

34:30It might not have been the biggest look in the room, but I thought it was a very clever
34:34play on words and the idea that a doll can also reference a trans woman and the hormones
34:39and the plastic of it all.

34:42The only thing about Aurora's bodysuit, it's a little bit ill-fitting.
34:45I think she needs a new pattern because she's kind of sagging in the back.
