00:00I'm the woman leading the Kurosawa medical team.
00:03What we do in the World Cup is trying to get the players as fit as possible for their games.
00:09Women or men, it should not be a discussion.
00:13But we know there are so many obstacles for women to take to come at the same position.
00:19But in the end, you have to look at quality and then it shouldn't matter if it's men or women.
00:25But if there are both qualified professionals and one is a man and one is a woman,
00:31we still know from research that more often the men will be picked.
00:35I think there are also for coaches, for performance staff,
00:40way more professional women available than they are now on those positions.
00:45So I hope that in the future this will change.
00:49You will have a million no's in your life.
00:52You will be rejected because you're a woman.
00:56It's still like this.
00:57I have had it a lot in my career.
00:59So these obstacles we have to face as women.
01:03And don't let your dream go by someone telling you, no, you can do this because you're a woman.
01:11Keep following your dreams.
01:13Do what you like and then you always will end up in a good place.
