00:00yeah so Bella was diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was four which was back
00:05in 2020 and it was an emergency sort of life-saving brain surgery that Great
00:11Ormond Street did for her when they found the tumour so without Great Ormond Street
00:16we may not have that here so means everything to us obviously couldn't be
00:22more grateful more thankful Bella actually really loves it here she loves
00:26coming back for her MRIs which she has regularly she's really comfortable here
00:31the play leaders and everything make that happen yeah just nothing I could say
00:38that's bad about it brilliant and just finally how important would you say these
00:42kind of spaces are when when you're spending a lot of time in the hospital
00:45oh so important it makes the children forget a little bit about what it is
00:50that they're going through I think like with Bella especially it's like such a
00:53brilliant distraction to be able to come down to something like this and not
00:59remember the reason why you're here so it's just that little escape I think is
01:02so amazing Bella riding who had emergency surgery at the age of four after a large
01:08tumour was discovered in her brain was overcome when she saw the stars of the
01:14Mona live action movie carrying gift bags for her and her seven-year-old sister Luna
01:20Bella temporarily lost her ability to walk and speak following surgery and her
01:26mother Sophie riding told the press association that singing the song shiny from
01:31the Disney 2016 animation film Mona had helped her with her recovery Miss riding
01:37said Bella was first believed to have caught some type of sickness bug when she
01:41began at getting sick at night and complaining of painful headaches but shortly
01:47before her tumour was found her mother noticed Bella stumbled and did not walk straight she
01:53took her daughter to A&E where a CT scan revealed the tumour roughly the size of an apple
01:58and she was rushed to Great Ormond Street for emergency treatment why why is it why events
02:05like these why spaces like this moments where children are able to meet their their heroes why is
02:11things like that so important to Disney well Disney really cares about creating moments that matter
02:19particularly when children and families may need them the most and we know that children and families
02:26they can experience some very difficult challenging times here and to give them a place where they can go
02:32they can be kids again and they can lose themselves with the characters and the experience and it's designed
02:39to be fully immersive and sensory experience and it's designed to be inclusive as well for those
02:44that may be visually impaired or those that may need to come in with a bed or a wheelchair we've
02:51made
02:51it completely accessible and I think that those are the moments that really matter particularly at times
02:57when people may need them the most
