SURPRESANG INC RALLY PARA HARANGIN ANG KASONG PLUNDER vs SEN. MARCOLETA
Umabot sa 16,000 ang mga nakiisa sa kilos-protesta ng Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) sa EDSA ngayong huling araw ng Hunyo.
Ang rally na nagsimula ng 2 AM, nagdulot ng maghapong pagbigat sa trapiko sa bahagi ng EDSA.
Kaninang umaga, iniharang pa ng mga raliyista ang dalawa nilang service bus sa EDSA Busway. May naipit diyan na pulis.
Sumiklab din ang tensyon sa pagitan ng mga nagra-rally at ng pulisya.
Sabi ng NCRPO, walang permit ang rally pero kalauna'y naka-secure din sila ng permit hanggang bukas, July 1, 2026.
Sabi ng INC, ang kilos-protesta ay para sa hindi umano makatarungang pagsasampa ng kasong plunder sa miyembro nilang si Marcoleta.
Pagpunto naman ng senador, planado ni Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla ang paghahain ng kaso para makulong siya nang mapigilan ang imbestigasyon sa flood control scam at para 'di siya makalahok sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
