It was a cold and windy night, The moon had vanished out of sight. I climbed upstairs and locked the door, I couldn't face the storm no more.
I grabbed a book beside the chair, A little whiskey, nothing rare. I stretched my feet, began to read, A quiet night was all I'd need.
Then something cold touched my shoulder, Made my beating heart grow colder. I tried to shout, I tried to yell, But fear had cast a magic spell.
The book flew from my shaking hands, As if obeying strange commands. I couldn't move, I couldn't flee, When someone whispered close to me...
"I am Frankenstein!"
Shaking all over, I was scared to death. Couldn't say a word, Couldn't catch my breath.
Shaking all over, Nothing looked the same. I took off running Long before I knew his name.
Then in a flash the nightmare broke, I woke up thinking it a joke. I found myself back home in bed, "Just a crazy dream," I said.
Somebody knocked upon my door. "My girl's arrived, I'm pretty sure. Ghosts don't knock," I laughed out loud, And walked there feeling strong and proud.
The moment that I opened wide, A freezing chill came from outside. My knees turned weak, my face turned white, My hair stood up in pure fright.
The one I saw was not my girl, My head began to spin and whirl. He smiled at me with ghostly glee...
"I'm back"
Shaking all over, I was scared to death. Couldn't say a word, Couldn't catch my breath.
Shaking all over, Nothing looked the same. I slammed the door...
But back again he came!
