00:02Rescue crews aren't giving up hope in Venezuela, still searching through the rubble of collapsed
00:06buildings, listening for any sign of life five days after twin earthquakes rattled the country.
00:12Rescuers miraculously pulled surviving people from the rubble this weekend
00:16after they were buried for four days. Acting President Delcey Rodriguez says
00:21these search and rescue operations will continue. The rescuers say they've entered critical hours
00:27to find survivors. Officials say the quakes killed more than 1,400 people. Upwards of 3,000 were
00:33injured and nearly 13,000 have been displaced. The death toll is still expected to rise.
00:40The country's National Assembly leader said Sunday that 774 buildings had been damaged or destroyed,
00:47including 189 that completely collapsed. In La Guayra, the hardest hit area, officials say rescue
00:54efforts are being hampered by civilians with relief supplies and volunteers. They say the influx of
00:59people trying to help is clogging the only highway into the region, leaving many rescue workers stuck
01:05in traffic. They're trying to limit those rescue efforts to only those authorized to help, but
01:11civilians who are frustrated with the government's disaster response continue to pour in.
