00:06City and that includes our friends from TalkSport. So I'm joining White and Jordan this morning to
00:12talk all things World Cup and Team USA's chances of possibly winning it all. I wonder what this
00:18fella thinks. He joins Simon, myself and Alex live in studio. New York Post sports reporter,
00:24former player for the New York Giants, of course. Brandon London is with us as he was back in London.
00:32How are you, my friend? I mean, London and London, you guys in New York. I hope you're enjoying this
00:36view. It looks great on a postcard or a mug, but it looks absolutely better in person. I just thank
00:42all the Europeans, all the people from across the world for coming in and bringing the vibes to the
00:47city. We had the Knicks win the championship. Now we have Holga Benito here having a great time
00:53celebrating the beautiful game in the World Cup. You have surprised a few people. I've been
00:58surprised at how so many USA fans are now really invested in this World Cup and they think USA can
01:06go far. How far can they go then? I think at least the quarterfinals, you know, Posh said semifinals
01:12and bust. I'm like, ah, scratch, pump your brakes there a little bit, Posh, but I think it's quarterfinals
01:18and I would love to see England, USA in the quarterfinals because that will tell us where
01:25we are at. How, how, how, where we are. That's like that, that measuring point that you want
01:30to get to. You have three Lions. That's one of the most respected teams in this World Cup,
01:35not playing up to their, I guess we can all agree they're not playing up to their ability right
01:41now. Yeah. Um, Harry Kane had those two phenomenal goals in the first half of that first match.
01:47We haven't seen him yet. We had a chance to bury one last night. Brandon, could the US side
01:52be England?
01:55It's, it's tournament. It's a tournament. It's just like, it's just like, there's, there's always
02:00upsets. It's always upsets. As a former professional athlete, if you put me on that field, that pitch,
02:06that court that day, I'm not going to walk in there and be like, okay, they've got Harry Kane.
02:11They've got Jude Bellingham. They can beat us. I'm going to walk out there and be like,
02:15they've got Harry Kane. This is going to sound like, I'm going to give you the top of my game
02:20and Fola Bellingham. He's played against these guys. Christian Pulisic won a champions league
02:25with Thomas Tuchel before. So you've got a lot of guys, uh, uh, uh, Weston McKinney plays for
02:30Juventus. Tyler Adams has played in the premier league. You've got a lot of guys that feel like
02:36they would be able to match up on home soil against England. I wouldn't bet anything on it,
02:42but at the end of the day, I would love to see that for risk of English arrogance. I just
02:46wrapped
02:46on my appearance on white and Jordan. It was great being with them here in New York city after
02:52getting a chance to be in their home studio back across the pond in London. Uh, when I was there,
02:59I talked about team USA's chances and not only good getting out the group stage, but possibly
03:05winning it, uh, they don't think they can win it. I mean, you know, it's one of those things where,
03:10you know, you, you kind of got to prove that they can do it, but getting out of the group
03:15stage,
03:15they've already kind of locked that up already. But one thing I have to say being on, um, uh,
03:20white and Jordan, like those guys, those, those guys are a classic love being able to go back and
03:26forth with them and banter. I understand that their football knowledge is a lot more, um,
03:31extensive than mine, but I love to be able to be on a platform or be with guys who encourage
03:37a
03:37different opinion, who get to, who actually welcome a different opinion. And it was really
03:43cool to be able to talk about the American side of things. When we talk about the world cup and
03:48the
03:48different pressures that America's feeling compared to England and what they're feeling right now. So
03:54great job, um, being on there with, uh, white and Jordan. Can't wait to be back on with them.
04:00And I'm praying, I'm hoping we get USA versus England in the knockout stages. Winner takes all.
