Labour's Andy Burnham says whilst the political direction he sets is "not up for negotiation", he will "build an inclusive team at the very highest level". He goes on to say that he will "not announce those decisions on appointments until the end of [the] process", a remark which makes the crowd in front of him laugh. Report by Patelr. 00:00While the political direction I set is not up for negotiation, I will build an inclusive team at the very
00:07highest level,
00:08so that all parts of the party and the country can see themselves reflected and represented in it.
00:13And may I say, I will not announce those decisions on appointments.
00:19Certainly not today, and indeed not until the end of this process.
00:23So until then, feel free to discount the wild speculation in circulation.
