00:00I hope people can begin to feel, hopefully you can, some of the excitement that comes with the change that
00:07I'm setting out today.
00:09It promises a new era of possibility for Britain, possibility in places that haven't felt it for a very long
00:17time.
00:17And I know because I heard that from people on doorsteps in the by-election.
00:22But let's give them that feeling, that ability to hope, to aspire to better.
00:30The change will be the biggest change in our lifetimes to the way the country has run.
00:35And it is consistent with the 2024 manifesto.
00:39We will create a more streamlined state with a clearer purpose.
00:44To power up all parts of the country and put a laser-like focus on growth and regeneration. Good growth.
00:53The change will be driven through the Prime Minister's office in an extended operation based here in Manchester.
