00:00The movie starts in Hong Kong.
00:02A group of people stop at the bus station and board a minibus heading from Mong Kok to Tai Po.
00:08There are about 17 passengers and none of them know each other.
00:11At first, everything in the city seems completely normal.
00:14They have no idea what's about to happen to them.
00:17As the minibus drives along and enters the tunnel, things suddenly start to change.
00:21When the bus comes out the other side of the tunnel, the whole world has completely transformed.
00:26In a city as crowded as Hong Kong, there's no traffic and no people anywhere.
00:30At first, the passengers don't even notice.
00:33But as time passes, they sense the silence and realize something feels wrong.
00:37The passengers look around the streets in surprise.
00:39There's no traffic, not even an animal in sight.
00:42They can't spot a single human being anywhere.
00:44Meanwhile, one of the women on the bus is texting her friend.
00:47She notices that ever since they came out of the tunnel, her messages won't send.
00:51Sitting on the same bus is Fat, a businessman who is making an important call.
00:55After they left the tunnel, his call got disconnected.
00:58And now when he tries calling again, he can't get through either.

01:07This area is never empty, especially not at midnight when it's usually packed.

02:43This same young man, Yao, then takes Yuki, a woman from the bus, for a walk.
02:47He is determined to find a way out of here, or at least figure out what has happened to everyone.
02:52As they walk, they spot a masked man standing in the distance.
02:55Yao is frightened at first, but then looks again and realizes this man might be able to answer their questions.

03:03Turning his attention back to Yuki, Yao suddenly gets scared because her face has gone pale and strange.
03:08She looks like someone who has been possessed.
03:10Her hair blowing wildly in the wind, looking utterly terrifying.
03:14Frightened, Yao closes his eyes.
03:15When he slowly opens them again, everything is back to normal.
03:18Even Yuki looks fine again.
03:20Meanwhile, 4 university students who got off the bus earlier are heading home.
03:24One of them gets home and suddenly falls ill, vomiting.
03:27As he sits down on the sofa, his body starts shaking violently.
03:31His friends hear his screams and rush inside, only to be horrified at what they see.
03:36His entire body has burned and turned to ash, right in front of their eyes.
03:40Terrified, the others realize the same thing could happen to them, and they immediately
03:44flee the apartment, running for their lives.
03:47As they run, they come across Yao, who is riding his bicycle nearby, and had already watched
03:51something similar happen to other students.
03:54The students look at him as they keep running, but the next moment, they are suddenly unable
03:58to move any further.
03:59They burst into flames while running, and their bodies fall to the ground, turning to ash.
04:03Witnessing this leaves Yao deeply shaken.
04:05It is as if his mind has shut down.
04:07He watches as a third student approaches from behind.
04:10As Yao moves toward him, he sees that this student has also gone lifeless, and fallen
04:14to the ground.
04:15The student's mouth suddenly starts to swell, then bursts open, and his brain falls out.

04:22Meanwhile, all the passengers from the bus, now scattered at their homes or at restaurants,

05:13Some people start to wonder if aliens from another world have cursed humanity, though
05:17there is no way to know if that is actually true.
05:19Whether or not aliens exist on other worlds remains unconfirmed.
05:23Everyone has their own theories, but no one can agree on what is really happening to them,
05:27or what will happen next.
05:28Things get even scarier soon after they receive this message.
05:31Ao Young, the man who has been giving everyone hope to keep going, suddenly catches fire.
05:36Flames break out around him in the house, terrifying everyone.
05:39Ao Young runs outside, trying to save himself, and everyone rushes to put the fire out together,
05:44but they fail, and he burns to ashes.
05:46Watching this, everyone loses hope of surviving, realizing they could be next.
05:51Desperate to save themselves, the group starts running from place to place, but it does not
05:55help.
05:55The same fate is closing in on everyone.
05:57As they run, they spot another masked man, believing he must know something about what
06:02is going on.
06:02One of them suggests there may have been a chemical blast nearby, which could be turning
06:06people to ash.
06:07They decide they need to catch this man, and force him to explain what has happened.
06:11As they chase him, one of them accidentally collides with someone, and falls.
06:15It turns out to be Lavina, a woman who had been on the bus with them, and she is dead,
06:18having been brutally attacked before she died.

06:33They try asking him what is going on, whether aliens have arrived, who he is.
06:37The man, clearly frightened, starts speaking, but no one understands his language.

06:43One of the women in the group pulls out her phone and opens a translation app, but it turns
06:47out the man cannot really tell them anything useful.
06:50All he keeps saying is to give him back his mask.
06:53Terrified, even when they threaten to kill him, he manages to break free and run off to
06:57save himself.
06:58The scene then shifts back to Yao, the man on the bicycle who had witnessed the three
07:02students dying earlier.
07:04Deeply traumatized by what he saw, he takes refuge in a nearby apartment.
07:08There, he finally gets a call from his girlfriend, Yi.
07:11He quickly answers and tries to talk to her, asking where everyone has gone.
07:14Yi asks him the same question in reverse.

07:56As he approaches, he watches another student crumble to ashes right before his eyes, screaming
08:02as his body falls apart, though nothing can be done to stop it.
08:05Everyone is still confused about what is happening.
08:08Yao then speaks up and tells the group about the call from his girlfriend, explaining that
08:12she said he had been missing for six years.
08:15Everyone is stunned to hear this.
08:17Shun then points out that there is a chemical factory nearby, and he believes a chemical
08:21explosion there might be the reason they have ended up in another dimension.
08:25He feels strongly that something happened there, and everyone agrees it is worth checking out.
08:30So the group decides to head to the chemical factory to find out what really happened.
08:34But the bus has run out of fuel, so Sweat, the driver, risks his own life and decides
08:39to walk to a nearby gas station to fill up a can of petrol so they can get the bus

08:44again and reach the factory.
08:45While filling up the petrol, Sweat returns to find a man already sitting on the bus.
08:50This turns out to be Blind Fi, a drug addict, who had actually been on the bus the whole
08:54time, unconscious from his last dose.
08:56Now that he is awake, Fi has no idea what has happened or what is going on.
09:00Thinking the driver is trying to take him somewhere against his will, Fi attacks Sweat.
09:04To defend himself, Sweat fights back, and a violent struggle breaks out.
09:08In the end, Sweat manages to pin Fi down, strikes him with an axe to stop him, and throws him
09:13off the bus before driving away.
09:15Back inside, everyone starts confessing things they feel guilty about, believing that whatever
09:19is happening to them might be punishment for their past actions.
09:23One of the young men, Gluestick, admits that while he never personally committed any crime,
09:27he feels guilty for a different reason.
09:28He watched his friends commit a terrible act and did nothing to stop them.
09:32He explains that when the three of them got off the bus earlier, there was a woman with
09:37them, Lavina, and his friends ended up sexually assaulting her while he just stood by and watched.
09:42He says not stopping them is his biggest crime.
09:45One of those two friends had already died earlier while sitting on a sofa, but the other,
09:49Airplane, is still alive and standing among the group, and everyone starts looking at him
09:53strangely.
09:54They eventually decide they cannot let him live and begin to beat him before stabbing him

09:59Fat, the businessman, is in tears as he stabs him too.
10:02Saying he has two daughters of his own and wishes there had been someone in his world

10:08Airplane begs for his life, but they do not listen, and he is eventually killed.
10:12To get rid of the body, the group wraps it in plastic and tries to put it in the freezer.
10:16But suddenly, Airplane's eyes snap open.
10:18Now bleeding and full of rage, he breaks free.
10:21The group grabs a large weapon to try to kill him again, since it turns out he was not actually
10:25dead.
10:26Before this happened, Shun had secretly convinced Airplane that his attack had been the least violent
10:30of the group and offered to help him get revenge on the others.
10:33Airplane, trusting him, goes after his real killer, only to be struck down again, this
10:38time by Shun himself, who picks up a large pole and knocks him unconscious for good.
10:43Afterward, the group heads to a nearby general store to gather supplies.
10:47They pick up protective suits there, hoping the chemicals in the air outside will not be
10:51able to hurt them.
10:51With that done, they head toward the chemical factory, where they suspect the explosion happened.
10:56When they arrive, they find several other people wearing similar gas masks.
11:00Workers from the factory, who like them, seem to be trapped in this strange world.
11:04As soon as these masked workers spot the group, they attack without hesitation, treating them
11:08exactly like the others.
11:09Everyone rushes back to the minibus to escape.
11:12Suik, despite his injuries, starts driving at full speed, while the factory workers chase
11:17them down in their own vehicles.
11:18The workers surround the bus, repeatedly ramming into it until it eventually breaks down, forcing
11:23the group to stop.
11:24Right in front of them, the same man Suik had struck with the axe earlier suddenly appears,
11:28the axe still lodged in his shoulder.
11:30Everyone is shocked to see he is still alive.
11:32He climbs back inside the bus, and they tell him he needs to get the axe out of his shoulder.
11:37But he refuses, explaining that as long as it stays in him, it is stopping the bleeding.
11:41The moment it comes out, he will bleed to death.
11:44Everyone understands and lets it be.
11:46Then they notice it has started raining blood, or what looks like blood.
11:49When they touch it, they realize it is not blood at all, but acid.
11:52To stay safe, they need to get the bus moving again.
11:55Suik tries one more time to start it, but with no luck, the bus ends up taking a different
12:00route instead.
12:01Along the way, they come across Gluestick, the man they had been fighting with earlier.
12:05Realizing that in this world, they only have each other left, they decide to bring him back
12:09onto the bus.
12:10Gluestick asks the group where they are all even headed now.
12:13They admit they do not know.
12:14He then suggests they head back into the same tunnel, the one that started all of this.
12:18Everyone agrees it is worth a try, and Suik starts the bus toward the tunnel.
12:22As the bus drives in, everyone begins thinking about their loved ones, remembering every beautiful
12:27moment of their lives, and missing the people they care about.
12:30The movie ends here, on this strange, unresolved note.
