03:29And it's going to follow a rough year for him with Washington, but it's just, yeah, I'm excited for this
03:34docu-series to highlight these guys.
03:37And I'm surprised they didn't use Kirk Cousins for a third season.

03:44That was my biggest takeaway from that season, was that I thought Kirk Cousins was the big winner.

03:55I think these shows, as great as it was to see Joe Burrow in it and learn a little bit
03:59more about his life outside of football and watch the 2024 season unfold through his eyes, it was great to

04:04And I'll always welcome some extra Joe Burrow content in the offseason, but I don't think the show is built
04:12for superstars like that.
04:14I think the way that you can really win in shows like this is the way Kirk Cousins did.
04:18I think his fan base grew immensely because of the way he handled the hardships in a really challenging season
04:23for himself and talking about his family and everything along those lines.
04:27I think people could relate to him off the football field, which, you know, helped him grow his fan base.
04:31And I think Joe Flacco is going to have a lot of the same things in this season.
04:34You're going to see him get traded from Cleveland to the Bengals and start a game just a few days
04:38later.
04:38You're going to see him lose games where he plays good enough to win and seemingly lead the Bengals to
04:43a playoff spot.
04:44And then the defense lets it fall through their fingers like the Jets and the Bears game.
04:48I think this is going to be awesome to watch Joe Flacco go through the season as a Bengal.
04:52Start, play well, get benched for Burrow when he returns.
04:55I couldn't be more excited for this.
04:57I think it's the most exciting quarterback cast as a whole going into a season that we've had yet in
05:04terms of this series.
05:05And I think if you told me to do the top three storylines in the NFL last year, I'd want
05:09to see.
05:09I think all three are in here.
05:11Jaden Daniels, after his rookie year, really struggling last year.
05:14Would love to see how he handles that early in his career.
05:17I think Joe Flacco's trade, obviously, one of the biggest talking points of the quarterback position all season long.
05:21But then I think the other one that's great in here is Baker Mayfield.
05:24I think his personality is awesome to watch.
05:27But they mentioned it there in the trailer.
05:28He was the MVP of the league through the first five weeks of the season.
05:31He was the betting favorite across the board on that front.
05:34And the offense was booming in Tampa.
05:36And then it really fell apart as the injuries started to take control of the offense and Baker himself.
05:40So those three, obviously, are going to be great storylines to follow.
05:44And then Cam Ward, his rookie season, how that all worked out, I think is going to be awesome.
05:47So I'm really, really excited for this season.
05:49I do think Flacco's probably my early favorite to be the big winner out of this group.

06:24Like, probably the most underrated move of the offseason is bringing back Joe Flacco.

06:37But, yeah, for me, I look at it and I'm like, more insight on Flacco.

06:48Flacco's reaction to that, all of those things.
06:51Like, that's where I get really interested is navigating that.
06:54Because the Bengals, basically, when Burrow came back, had to win out to have a chance.
06:58And even if they would have done that by then, it wouldn't have worked.
07:00They wouldn't have won the division.
07:03They wouldn't have been in it.
07:04But at the time, it felt like they still could be in it.
07:06And they were hanging on by a thread.
07:08But, like, Flacco after the Jets game.
07:11Yeah.
07:13When it goes from they're up 42-28, they're going to win.
07:17They're going to be 4-4.
07:18They win two games in ten days.
07:20He's been at Bengal for two and a half weeks.
07:22And now, suddenly, they're 4-4, and he can just breathe for a second.
07:27And, instead, they're 3-5.
07:30And he's dealing with a shoulder injury.
07:32And his shoulder looked ridiculous.
07:35There was never a doubt that he was going to play.
07:37Like, his teammates are telling me, oh, no, he's playing this week.
07:41Like, there was never a doubt.
07:42Because he was telling them, oh, I'll play.
07:45Even though he didn't practice and had to do all those things.
07:48And I know there was some uncertainty behind the scenes.
07:50And, but, we get to see all of that.
07:52And so, I'm excited.
07:53As annoying as last season was, Flacco was a huge bright spot.
07:58A huge reason why, one, I believe mid-year that they could turn it around.
08:02And, two, why I believe this year.
08:04Because if Burrow misses some time, Joe Flacco is going to be calm.
08:07If he gets hurt in Baltimore, Joe Flacco is going to say, I got this.
08:11It's really hard to say it and then have the confidence and ability to do it.
08:15And I still think even at his age, he does.
08:17I think the reason nobody really talks about the Joe Flacco retention this offseason as a huge win is because
08:22the way it becomes a huge win is if something none of us want to happen happens.
08:27And it's an injured Joe Burrow.
08:29Now, it's great to have Flacco on the bench.
08:31And I think he's going to provide a lot to the locker room anyway.
08:33But the way that that really provides value to this team is if Burrow misses three, four weeks and Flacco
08:38can get you some wins there.
08:39So, I think just trying to get a Burrow injury out of everyone's mind this offseason has been a big
08:45reason why that continues to be overlooked.
08:48But having that ability is certainly huge.
08:51And I also think as much as the veteran leadership can help in other position groups, we kind of ignore
08:55it from the Joe Burrow side of things because he's so established and so great when he is on the
08:59field.
08:59I think Flacco can help Joe Burrow become an even better quarterback in this league just from the things that
09:04Flacco does well, the things that led Flacco to be a Super Bowl champion and an MVP, stuff that Burrow
09:09is aspiring to do this season.
09:11So, I think Joe Flacco is going to be a huge help, not just to the young guys in that
09:15building, but a guy who used to be a young guy who isn't a young guy anymore.
