00:06We now go left to Venezuela, where the President de Cesar Rodríguez is offering statements.
00:11Let's listen.
00:15We are carrying on actions to prevent any kind of situation in the matter of safety and health.
00:21We are not going to rest.
00:22I know that our country hasn't stopped, hasn't rest, and hasn't stopped praying and crying for life, for protection, for
00:33tranquility.
00:35And that is the call.
00:38Let's not stop.
00:39I know that from here, as I've said before, we're going to come out stronger and more united.
00:45I know from this tragedy that the Venezuelan families are going to come out of this stronger and with a
00:55bigger heart that our country, our people, has always showed the humanity.
01:02Today, for Venezuela, we feel in the solidarity, in the international solidarity.
01:08And there's a people that is hugging each other between brothers and sisters that nothing else matters but to be
01:18more human, the Venezuelan people.
01:21We're going to keep working in this very important hour.
01:25And we think that the restriction of access to this state is kept so the work is permitted and is
01:38not disturbed.
01:39The kind of work that the health personnel and the security personnel is carrying out and the rescue workers are
01:46carrying out.
01:47That's the thing.
01:49And we'll keep moving forward without stop.
01:53Now, there is centers across and volunteers across the country.
02:00The registry that was opening the polyidrus, there's hundreds of people that have put down their names in this registry.
02:10People that, with their private means, are offering.
02:15And people that can do this, they can go to the polyadrums to register.
02:20Especially the people, motor, bikes, that have showed the importance of solidarity and the use of their means of transportation
02:30to put it to those who need it the most.
02:33So, we're going to keep going, we're going to keep moving forward with the work mayors.
02:42And always, together with the feel of our people, always, because we always need a helping hand in such a
02:57terrible time.
02:57And that is, and I refer to all these spaces that have been open for the people that need rest,
03:06for the people that need logistic support, food, shower.
03:12Now, there are open spaces that are willing for that.
03:17But now, this space is available for those people that lost their housing and don't have anywhere else to go.
03:28And we'll continue being in front, next to the rest of the people that activated the 24 hours a day.
03:35We're not going to stop.
03:38As hard as this is, we are going to keep going on the path of solidarity.
03:46And we were just listening to the statements of Acting President Delce Rodriguez.
03:50She was giving statements around the effort that has been carried out, especially in the state of La Guayra,
03:58following the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela.
04:01We'll be back with more information.
