00:00Severe weather threat right now is a little farther east, like I said, from Saranac Lake, which is in Adirondacks
00:04here.
00:05You can see that severe thunderstorm. Watch until 9 o'clock eastern.
00:09For some of these storms, just rumbling on through, we've been targeting those, as well as the one there in
00:15Massachusetts.
00:15That's also had some gusty winds. Watch out for the potential of hail.
00:18Most of it has become some heavy rain there through the state of Maine, so not quite as concerned with
00:24some of the wet weather there.
00:25As we go through Saturday, then, the focus will shift a little farther south.
00:29We've already got the wet weather in place this evening, and guess what? There's more showery weather to come.
00:35This is good news, though, because while we don't like the looks of that, the rain, the little bit of
00:39hail falling down on a Saturday in June, guess what?
00:43The drought indicates that we need it.
00:46So bad timing for the weekend, but we do want the rain, especially through northern Virginia, and we will do
00:52just that for your Saturday.
00:53I expect the showers to be a little bit more persistent.
00:55The thunderstorms, too, found in Washington, D.C. will keep you wet there.
00:59And as you venture farther north, just spotting in nature with some of that wet weather holding on into Sunday.
01:06And then the severe weather threat still focuses where those thunderstorms are south of the rain, the showers, and the
01:12drizzle,
01:12which we'll find towards the Pennsylvania-Maryland border into Ohio.
01:16We'll see you next time.
