00:00Dalen is super smart. He's super smart off the court in terms of decision making. He has great
00:07self-awareness. He knows he's a rookie in the NBA. He knows that he has to continue to get better.
00:14He's always had a chip on his shoulder. That's a big reason why he has become what he's become.
00:19He's been out there to prove the world wrong, that he is a pro, that he's better than given
00:26credit for. I think that you're going to find that he's going to be very hungry, hardworking.
00:33Again, that self-awareness and that intelligence, as you guys know, that's so powerful in the world
00:38of the NBA because to me, those two things coincide with the guy that will continue to grow and develop
00:45and accept his role. In the locker room, at practice, the long course of an NBA season,
00:51you're dealing with somebody who knows who he is and knows that he has to keep getting better.
00:56In terms of on the court, he's blessed with making great decisions with the ball. He can play with
01:03the ball in his hands. Today's pick and roll thrives in transition and just really learned how to finish
01:11as well. Scoring just below 20 points a game is no easy task in the SEC. That's what he did
01:18for us
01:18this year. I would also tell you this. If you look at his rebounding, I think that's a statistic
01:23that translates. Young player in the Big East Conference during UConn's great years and then
01:29this past year in SEC, he's always been at the top of the best rebounders in the league. For somebody
01:35who's 6'8", again, I think that translates to becoming a really good NBA player.
