00:29initial review earlier this year, but I feel like people still don't totally understand what this
00:33machine is. It's actually my civic duty to explain, because it definitely is not your average drip
00:39brewer you would find in a diner. It's technically an automated pour over, so if you've seen like a
00:44Hario V60 or a Chemex or a Kalita Wave, the Ratio 4 essentially makes the same type of clean, nuanced
00:51coffee, but without having to pour water in circles at 7am. Now let's talk about the plastic situation,
00:57because I know that's why half of you are still watching this video. The water tank is BPA free,
01:04FDA approved plastic, and there's no hot water contact with the tank itself. Feel better now?
01:09It's super simple to use, just put your filter in the basket, fill the water tank, press go,
01:13and you're done. My favourite part? You can actually swap out drippers if you have a certain one
01:18you love. My not so favourite part? There's no hot plate keeping coffee warm like the Mocker Master,
01:24but hey, I guess that changes the flavour of the coffee anyway. The Ratio 4 is very much a drink
