00:00I am stepping down after two years, leaving the country in a better position than when I found it.
00:06I will do that with good grace and I will do that making sure that there is an orderly transition
00:13and that is what I'm going to do. I'm going to be professional, I'm going to have at foremost in
00:19my mind
00:19a sense of service and duty that has driven me as Prime Minister.
00:23I will continue to faithfully serve my country to make sure that any disruption is absolutely minimised
00:30and that's why I'm taking steps now to ensure that that can be done in a sensible way.
00:36I will do it in good grace, I will do it faithfully serving my country.
00:42It is the privilege of my life to have been and to be the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
00:48and I remind myself of that every single day.
00:51How are you feeling about it?
00:52Well, look, it is an incredible honour and privilege to be Prime Minister.
00:57I am determined to act in a way that ensures there is an orderly transition.
01:04That is my duty, I feel it very, very deeply and I will do that faithfully serving my country
01:11until the day I hand over and then making sure that whatever comes next is a success
01:16and the country can go on.
01:17I love this country, I love this country, I want this country to thrive
01:22and I shall do everything I can to make sure it's a success and thrive.
01:26The first bit of that is making sure there's an orderly transition and we go on and build
01:32on the good stuff we've done in the first two years of this government.
01:35The first bit of that is having no need for the first three years of this country to thrive in
01:38the third country,
01:38which was designed for the last two years of years of this country to thrive in the country.
