00:00Johor Amno Chief Onn Hafiz Ghazi has denied claims that the Johor Palace directed the dissolution of the State Legislative

00:08Assembly.

00:10The caretaker, Menteri Bursa, said the dissolution took place with the assent of Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

00:18In a Facebook post, Onn Hafiz said the process complied with Article 23 of the Johor State Constitution.

00:27He said, Royal assent is a constitutional requirement and does not amount to political interference by the Palace.

00:36Earlier, former Batu Pahad MP Puat Zarkashi alleged that Johor Amno lacked autonomy in its decision-making.

00:45According to Puat, Onn Hafiz had told him of the Palace's involvement in the Assembly's dissolution.

00:53On Hafiz said, Johor Amno will lodge a police report because the allegations could touch on sensitive 3R issues and

01:01undermine public harmony.
