00:00I know it's uncomfortable for you to see.
00:02Just imagine how uncomfortable it is to get this in your comments and your DMs every day, every week, every
00:08month.
00:09Monday night's Women Tell All episode of The Bachelor took a serious turn
00:12when former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay joined host Chris Harrison
00:16to address the online hate this season's contestants have received on social media.
00:21I feel like you guys hear us talk about the hate that we receive.
00:25You don't see it.
00:26But you have no idea what it is.
00:29And the only way that I can actually make you feel it is for you to see it.
00:34I was there at the taping of the emotional reunion episode
00:37that saw Rachel read several graphic and explicit messages.
00:40The women from Peter's season were sent online.
00:43No one cares about a half-f*****, half-Mexican bitch's opinion.
00:50You are disgusting and are jealous.
00:54One contestant who appeared especially affected was Sydney Hightower.
00:57When it comes to the point of attacking someone for who their mother and father is
01:01and because of the color of their skin, that's where it has to stop.
01:05After the reunion, Sydney told me that the segment came about after she reached out to Rachel
01:10about the racially charged hate she'd received while appearing on the show.
01:14She told THR,
01:15It was mostly targeted toward my race and toward the color of my skin.
01:19I look up to Rachel because she was the first African-American bachelorette.
01:22I can only imagine the things that she went through and the hate that she had to go through.
01:26So it was easy for us to connect on that level and for her to kind of be a rock
01:31for me to lean on and to get advice from.
01:32Monday's episode also saw Peter send Victoria F home, leaving Hannah Ann and Maddie as The Bachelor's final two ladies
01:39heading into the finale.
01:40The show teased what Chris Harrison says is one of the most unexpected and complicated endings we have ever seen,
01:46adding that even Peter doesn't know how it's going to end.
01:59We'll have to watch it all go down next Monday and Tuesday during The Bachelor's two-night live finale.
