00:03Elle y parlait de son dîner dans un restaurant du quartier latin à Paris
00:07qu'elle avait visiblement pas trop apprécié
00:09puisqu'elle parle d'un des pires repas de sa vie,
00:12de plats immangeables, d'un service affreux,
00:14bref une expérience à laquelle elle ne s'attendait visiblement pas
00:17puisqu'elle a choisi cet établissement en se basant sur
00:20ses nombreux avis Google notés 5 étoiles
00:22et dont certains dits-elles semblent très suspicieux.
00:25Alors forcément, j'ai voulu lui poser quelques questions.
00:30Elle s'appelle donc Brittany, elle habite à Londres
00:32et elle était de passage à Paris pour quelques jours.
00:40Et très vite, Brittany se rend compte que son expérience
00:47ne correspond pas du tout aux commentaires qu'elle a pu lire.
00:50First of all, the service was really unfriendly.
00:54When my husband's main course came,
00:56his truffle pasta was so overcooked,
00:58it kind of disintegrated when you put your fork in it.
01:01But we were like, this is actually, we can't eat this.
01:03So he asked the server to send it back,
01:05and then the server, he started arguing with him
01:07and saying, no, it's good, you're wrong.
01:10I got French onion soup, and it didn't have very much flavor,
01:13just not what you expect when you go to Paris.
01:15Even when we got to the dessert,
01:17it was some sort of like a flourless chocolate cake,
01:20and it tasted like, like just chocolate oil.
01:24It was one of the worst meals I've ever had,
01:26to the point of being inedible.
01:27But this was actually terrible.

01:31Brittany décide donc de rédiger un avis sur The Fork,
01:34mais cette fois-ci, le restaurant va faire quelque chose d'inattendu.
01:37And then I was really surprised when the review was deleted inside the restaurant.
01:43They retroactively cancelled my booking.
01:46And so I contacted The Fork, and they reinstated.
01:49And then, the next day, my review disappeared again.
01:51And it just kind of set off on an alarm bell.
01:54Like, I don't think these are actually authentic.
01:56Alors, Brittany a-t-elle simplement eu la poisse,
01:59ou s'est-elle vraiment fait tromper par des faux avis ?
