SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.- Un ciudadano, dedicado al trabajo en una gallera, denunció públicamente a un prestamista identificado únicamente como "Marco", originario de la zona de Villa Riva, por presuntamente violar su propiedad privada y sustraerle dinero en efectivo de su habitación bajo el argumento de una deuda pendiente.

Según el testimonio del afectado, él había solicitado de forma inicial dos préstamos de 10,000 pesos cada uno al mencionado prestamista. El denunciante asegura que se ha mantenido al día con las cuotas acordadas, realizando pagos los días martes por un monto de RD$1,040 y los jueves por RD$1,300.

A pesar de ir cumpliendo con los pagos habituales, el afectado relató que en su ausencia, el prestamista ingresó a su domicilio sin ninguna orden judicial, ignorando las advertencias de un hermano de la víctima que se encontraba en el lugar.

"Él se metió a mi habitación solo, dejó el candado junto... Yo tengo unos tenis encima de una mesita y de ahí se llevó 15,000 pesos que yo tenía guardados", manifestó el denunciante con indignación.

El ciudadano explicó que el día anterior al incidente le había entregado el dinero correspondiente a un cobrador enviado por el propio "Marco". Supone que dicho cobrador no notificó el pago a tiempo, lo que desató la agresión. Al día siguiente, el prestamista lo abordó de forma prepotente:

"Hoy me interceptaron, me dijeron 'busca los cuartos' y me metieron la mano en los bolsillos. Eso es un fresco, ningún cobrador tiene derecho a cobrarle a nadie así", puntualizó.

A pesar del atropello y de la sustracción del dinero de su cuarto, el denunciante aclaró que no tiene intenciones de evadir sus compromisos financieros, pero exige respeto a su integridad física y a su hogar: "Tengo que cumplirle porque, aunque ese dinero sea mal habido, hay que pagárselo porque él lo prestó y yo soy consciente de eso".

El afectado acudió ante las autoridades policiales para dejar constancia de la situación y hacer valer sus derechos frente a los métodos de cobro abusivos e ilegales implementados en su contra.
