SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.– Un ciudadano acudió ante las autoridades del Ministerio Público para interponer una querella formal, alegando ser víctima de persecución y amenazas con un arma blanca por parte de un sujeto que lo acusa, presuntamente sin pruebas, de sustraer plátanos en la comunidad de Güiza de esta localidad.

El denunciante, identificado como Juan de Jesús Hinojosa, explicó que fue abordado de manera agresiva por un hombre al que identificó como Modesto Reyes. Según la versión de Hinojosa, Reyes lo persiguió a bordo de una motocicleta portando un arma blanca tras acusarlo de robar plátanos de un predio agrícola.

"A mí nadie me puede señalar por robo ni atraco; tengo 60 años viviendo honestamente. Me dedico a buscar batata y yuca con permiso de los dueños en terrenos donde ya se ha cosechado, o a vender piñas. Este señor me persiguió con una güiricha en la mano acusándome de algo que no he hecho, y por eso vengo a poner mi denuncia para evitar que me involucren en un problema mayor", expresó el afectado.

Hinojosa Piñero sostuvo que no posee antecedentes penales y que se presentó ante el órgano persecutor con la finalidad de dejar constancia legal del hecho y resguardar su integridad física ante las acusaciones en su contra.
