00:01we got some movie news this morning i love a good movie news all right so um we are going

00:08with the reimagining of the blair witch project oh my god yeah i never saw the original okay um
00:16because i thought that it would be too scary but they're they've reimagined it it has a new
00:21premiere date and uh it'll hit theater september 24th 2027 you want to know a fun fact about it
00:29yeah it was originally filmed at seneca creek state park in gaithersburg maryland okay i am from
00:37gaithersburg maryland no and when we were kids we used to go to the same spot that they recorded it
00:44and scare the crap out of each other you know typical kid teenage of course of course yeah so uh
00:49seen the movie whoo scary yeah like donnie was just saying that he did not get scared by that movie
00:56it more was it was just a lot of moving camera the camera was constantly moving they were running a
01:03lot they were panning away i found it kind of annoying like it was more of a headache the whole
01:08idea of this movie if you're not familiar is that it's like found footage right so they're kids in
01:14the woods taking video of themselves and then they there's like this unseen presence right and that's
01:22what makes it so scary and suspenseful it the budget was sixty thousand dollars but viral
01:27marketing which by the way was not even a thing back in 1999 when they made this led to the
01:32film
01:32taking in almost 250 million dollars globally like it was such a smash yeah um same executive producers
01:38and everything as the first one are working on this reboot of it so that'll be coming in september of
01:442027. very cool um another redo and this is going to be a live action adaptation of this show
02:01and ms frizzle will be played by elizabeth banks no way now it's funny because this seemed familiar to me
02:09i thought i thought that we had already talked about this she was originally supposed to play
02:14ms frizzle um back in 2020 they talked about doing a reboot of the magic school bus or making this
02:20into
02:20a movie and it kind of fell to the wayside and now this has been picked up again so um

02:27detective pikachu director is going to be writing the treatment and directing the project so find it a
02:33little weird because ms frizzle i mean i never found her attractive right and i really find elizabeth banks
02:38attractive so she is like a chameleon though yeah i think that she's really talented she can adapt and
02:43she yeah so i think she's gonna be great at that and then one last movie news um and this
02:47is about
02:48the movie boyhood do you remember this movie it's from 12 years ago no oh no um this is richard
02:56link later made this and took 12 years that's right to make this movie and it follows this boy
03:02for 12 years right right literally took 12 years to make it and um and now it's it came out

03:09ago so they're going to re-release it in theaters wow that's so cool patricia arquette are both in it
03:16um and then for the they're going to be doing a screening in austin in july with a q a
03:21and stuff
03:21and they're bringing the cast back together which is going to be pretty neat and then after that boyhood
03:25will return to theaters beginning july 31st um and yeah i think it sounds like it's going to be pretty
03:30cool so if you missed it the first time this is a great opportunity to get back into theaters and
03:33see it
