00:00They didn't throw a wrench in the system. The thing with the Iranians, yes, they did threaten
00:04to walk out, or at least there were social media threats that they would walk out, but we were
00:08negotiating well past one in the morning yesterday, so they didn't walk out, and their technical team
00:13is still here in Bergenstock working with our technical team actually as we speak, though I
00:18imagine maybe some of them are taking a break to watch this news conference. But look, what we told
00:24the Iranians yesterday is when you guys engage in what us millennials might call trash talk,
00:30you can't expect the President of the United States not to respond and not to correct
00:33the record. So when they say things that aren't true, the President is going to respond to it.
00:38I'm going to respond to it. Americans are going to respond to it. When they make threats that
00:43aren't rooted in reality, they have to accept that the President of the United States is
00:47actually going to set the record straight. That's all that happened. So yes, there was
00:51a little bit of threatening, there was a little bit of whining, but at the end of the day the
00:54talks continued and we made great progress.
00:56On nuclear inspectors, when do you expect them to be welcomed into Iran? Is there a time frame
01:02that you guys are looking at and also in terms of when we could see this entire conflict end?
01:07Do you think this can end by the midterm elections?
01:10Well look, right now the conflict is in a ceasefire and certainly our hope is that we get to the
01:16final deal and a permanent settlement, but right now I think we've made great progress and we should
01:20all celebrate that. In terms of when the nuclear inspectors are going to start, it's funny,
01:25we were trying to call some of the inspectors last night around 2 in the morning. As you can expect,
01:30not many people were answering their phone at 2 in the morning. I expect that will happen at the
01:33minimum this week, but we think even some of those conversations with the inspectors and with the
01:39IAEA could happen as soon as today, but I haven't checked in with our team since we made that 2am
01:46phone call
01:46to some of those inspectors.
