00:00What have you made of, I mean, obviously Israel saying it's got aerial supremacy over Iran.
00:06I mean, what's your assessment of how things have gone up until this point?
00:11Well, they've gone with an overwhelming attack, rather devastating from Israel initially,
00:17bombing the sites, including key sites, the nuclear facility, including the reactor above ground at Natanz.
00:24But it was clear from today that they haven't got the facilities that are known to be underground.
00:30And what was bothering the IAEA was the unknown sites.
00:34And they were pretty sure there were some concealed sites.
00:36And I think rather unwisely, the regime in Tehran started boasting, saying, well, we've got new methods of enrichment, new centrifuges.
00:47We've got new centers for our nuclear industry, implying it was a nuclear military industry, which you don't know about.
00:56Now, I thought that was even in terms of diplomacy, that kind of foolish boasting was extremely unproductive.
01:05Israel has managed to do a lot.
01:06But I think that the shock for Israel has been how vulnerable, not completely vulnerable, but the vulnerabilities, the holes in the air defense system
01:19and the sophistication of some of the weaponry that Iran is firing back and continues to fire back, namely ballistic missiles.
01:28Less worrying the crews and the drones, although the crews are worrying, low flying, sneaky, very difficult to detect.
01:36But the ballistic missiles, traveling many times the speed of sound, going into the high atmosphere, into space and coming down,
01:46and very difficult to track in the last moments of its trajectory, I think these are extremely concerning.
