00:17:24Elise
00:17:25don't tell me you shoot too
00:17:30he is a pro, Ray
00:17:32This isn't something you just pick up.
00:17:35Especially trap shooting.
00:17:36She hasn't lost a round in three years.
00:17:42Getting lucky in a fist fight is one thing.
00:17:45But I bet you can't even seat a magazine.
00:17:48Does anyone want to step up?
00:17:51Leah trained all of us.
00:17:52We're nowhere near her level.
00:17:54She's right.
00:17:55Leah was closing in on FAMSquad reserve standards.
00:17:58That's elite tier.
00:18:01Can't even field a competitor?
00:18:04Just call it, Mr. Albright.
00:18:06Concede.
00:18:10This round, Valor, concedes.
00:18:12Hold on!
00:18:20The janitor?
00:18:22Again?
00:18:22You've got to be kidding me!
00:18:24Don't embarrass yourself, Elise.
00:18:25I'm not Saul.
00:18:27I won't hand you an opening.
00:18:29Only one way to find out.
00:18:31Elise, look.
00:18:32MMA and precision shooting,
00:18:33they don't cross over.
00:18:35Walking away from this isn't losing.
00:18:36It's common sense.
00:18:37Shooting isn't about strength.
00:18:38You need to be at shadow's level.
00:18:40Every discipline trained to the edge
00:18:41or this doesn't work.
00:18:42And that's...
00:18:44Fine.
00:18:44You want to shoot, shoot.
00:18:46But let's make it worth everyone's time.
00:18:48What kind of stakes?
00:18:49One round.
00:18:52All.
00:18:54You lose, Valor gets a new owner.
00:19:06Elise, you've already done enough.
00:19:08And if Valor wins, what's on the table?
00:19:12I walk away from this place and never come back.
00:19:16Elise, please.
00:19:17You don't owe us this.
00:19:18What happened to all that confidence?
00:19:20Getting cold teeth?
00:19:23Fine.
00:19:23When I win, you apologize.
00:19:25On camera, in front of every reporter here.
00:19:28And you give your word in public
00:19:29that Meridian never comes near Valor again.
00:19:36Agreed.
00:19:36Let's get started.
00:19:42Elise, you don't have to.
00:19:43I don't bet my life on luck.
00:19:46I don't bet my life on luck.
00:19:50Take a day off in here
00:19:51and you might not get one out there.
00:19:58On your feet.
00:19:59Keep going.
00:20:00Remember this.
00:20:01Whatever happens out there,
00:20:03don't bet your life on luck.
00:20:09I trust you.
00:20:11I trust you.
00:20:19Trap shooting.
00:20:2020 clay targets scored by hits.
00:20:22Tie goes to time.
00:20:23Shooters, take your positions.
00:20:27I'll take the rifle.
00:20:29You can have the shotgun.
00:20:31Bigger spread, easier takedowns.
00:20:33I'm feeling generous.
00:20:34Arrogant!
00:20:35Take the shotgun, Elise.
00:20:38Don't play games with this.
00:20:41Wait, is that...
00:20:42She's going with a pistol?
00:20:46Has she lost her mind?
00:20:47A pistol for trap shooting?
00:20:49That's a 12-round mag.
00:20:50She's got 20 targets.
00:20:51Even if she hits everything,
00:20:52she'll have to reload mid-round.
00:20:53Leah won't.
00:20:54On time alone, we lose.
00:20:56Yeah.
00:20:57This one's a loss.
00:20:58Don't even know if the center survives this.
00:21:00Is this you giving up, janitor?
00:21:02A pistol's enough for you.
00:21:05Elise, listen to me.
00:21:06This isn't about difficulty.
00:21:07A handgun against clay targets at range isn't winnable.
00:21:10Period.
00:21:15Derek, is she handing us this round as a gift?
00:21:19That's generous.
00:21:23Whenever you're ready.
00:21:27Don't blink.
00:21:28You might miss the only lesson you'll ever get.
00:21:36Shooter's ready.
00:21:47Shooter's ready.
00:21:50Begin.
00:22:08That's what Elite looks like.
00:22:10Top of the field.
00:22:11Right there.
00:22:13That level.
00:22:14That holds up even by Meridian standards.
00:22:33Perfect score.
00:22:3520 for 20.
00:22:36Time, 20 seconds.
00:22:41Your turn, janitor.
00:22:43What have you got for the cameras?
00:22:45Even luck's not on your side today, Mr. Albright.
00:22:52She hit 20 with 19 pounds.
00:22:54She left that last bullet on the table on purpose.
00:22:56She's not just trying to win.
00:22:57She's trying to humiliate her.
00:23:09A souvenir.
00:23:11Maybe you'll learn something.
00:23:16She's impressive, isn't she?
00:23:18You had a real eye for talent, Mr. Albright.
00:23:21Had.
00:23:22Elise can fight.
00:23:23But shooting isn't about muscle.
00:23:24It's about steadiness, judgment, experience built over years.
00:23:28And she's still holding that damn pistol.
00:23:30Mr. Albright, I'm not done.
00:23:32Put me up.
00:23:34At least we lose with some dignity.
00:23:36Make the call.
00:23:36Now.
00:23:38You guys still holding out for a miracle?
00:23:41She's got a handgun and 20 clay targets.
00:23:44Do the math.
00:23:46What are you all waiting for?
00:23:48The second she picked up that pistol, she was already out of this.
00:23:51Next shooter.
00:23:52Valor Training Center.
00:23:54Elise.
00:24:02Eleven?
00:24:03What does that mean?
00:24:11She has lost her mind!
00:24:14Blindfolded?
00:24:14That's not skill.
00:24:15That's a circus act.
00:24:16Who does she think she is?
00:24:17Shadow?
00:24:18Take a good look at your training center, Mr. Albright.
00:24:20Under new management soon.
00:24:22Looks like she is.
00:24:39bullshit.
00:24:44She is.
00:24:46I do.
00:24:46What does that mean?
00:24:47Hey!
00:24:49I do.
00:24:55That's impossible!
00:25:05Shadow.
00:25:06Nobody else in the world shoots like that.
00:25:1520 for 20!
00:25:1818 seconds!
00:25:2011 rounds!
00:25:40Yours.
00:25:43You! You!
00:25:45What the hell?
00:25:46Did you see that?
00:25:47She kept a round too!
00:25:49One bullet left over!
00:25:50Same as Leah!
00:25:52The 11.
00:25:53That's what she carved into the table.
00:25:55She knew exactly how many rounds she'd need.
00:25:58She called it.
00:25:58Down to the round.
00:26:00And she did it blind!
00:26:02Pure sound.
00:26:03Racking clay targets by ear alone.
00:26:05With a pistol!
00:26:07Do you people understand how impossible that is?
00:26:12Shooting competition.
00:26:14Valor Training Center wins!
00:26:20Thank you, Elise.
00:26:21For everything.
00:26:24I was wrong, Elise.
00:26:26I doubted you.
00:26:26I talked down to you.
00:26:28I'm sorry.
00:26:36That's...
00:26:36How did she...
00:26:38Impossible.
00:26:42You couldn't beat a janitor, Leah!
00:26:44A janitor!
00:26:45You're up.
00:26:46Next heat.
00:26:47Now.
00:26:48Luna?
00:26:49I can't do what she just did.
00:26:5120 clays, 11 rounds, blindfolded with a pistol.
00:26:54That's not a skill level anymore.
00:26:55That's not even humanly possible.
00:26:56So I'm paying all of you and not one of you can beat the cleaning staff?
00:27:00Mrs. Harlow.
00:27:02Get out of my sight!
00:27:04All of you!
00:27:05Now!
00:27:10You heard me.
00:27:11Get lost.
00:27:15The match is over.
00:27:16You lost.
00:27:17Are you going to honor the deal or do we do this the hard way?
00:27:20Who the hell are you?
00:27:21Valor's janitor.
00:27:23A janitor who takes down a three-time MMA champion?
00:27:26A janitor who shoots 20 clays blind with 11 rounds?
00:27:29You really expect me to buy that?
00:27:33Clear the area.
00:27:35Camera's off!
00:27:36Everyone out!
00:27:36Now!
00:27:39You caught my attention.
00:27:48Gina!
00:27:48You gave your word!
00:27:50Everyone here is mine.
00:27:52I could make Valor disappear today starting with her.
00:27:54You rigged the game, you lost, and now you're just going to burn the house down?
00:27:58You're a coward!
00:27:59What are you going to do about it?
00:28:01You have won, Elise.
00:28:02I can make her gone in five minutes.
00:28:13Nobody moves!
00:28:18That's Captain Cross from Phantom Squad.
00:28:24Weapons down!
00:28:25Now!
00:28:51Captain Cross, it's been a while, just a little misunderstanding.
00:28:55We were working out a business arrangement.
00:28:58That's not what a business arrangement looks like.
00:29:02I think you misread the situation.
00:29:05If it's a misunderstanding, then the agreement stands.
00:29:12You lost.
00:29:14Now make the announcement.
00:29:16Publicly.
00:29:18You're done with valor.
00:29:20And the apology...
00:29:38My mistake, Mr. Albright.
00:29:40My sincere apologies.
00:29:43Valor won't be hearing from us again.
00:29:46We're done here.
00:29:55We won!
00:29:57We actually won!
00:29:59We won!
00:30:29Captain Cross, thank you for showing up.
00:30:31What brought you out here?
00:30:33We're here on a Phantom Squad bereavement visit.
00:30:36The Albright family.
00:30:39And I wanted to see the janitor who just knocked out an MMA champion.
00:30:45Elise?
00:30:49Where did she go?
00:31:00No.
00:31:02No.
00:31:05No.
00:31:08No.
00:31:27Easy.
00:31:31It's me.
00:31:39Are those for PTSD?
00:31:44ELYSIA!
00:31:53I don't know you. Please leave.
00:31:57Doesn't matter if you know me.
00:32:00I know you.
00:32:03Shadow.
00:32:12Phantom Squad's greatest field commander.
00:32:15Broke every national combat record when she first came up.
00:32:18Nobody's even come close to those numbers.
00:32:20A year ago, she dismantled a seven-man perimeter alone
00:32:24and was awarded the highest commendation in the unit's history.
00:32:27Then on the day of the ceremony, she was gone.
00:32:29Nobody knew where she went.
00:32:30I've been looking for a long time.
00:32:32There's an operation.
00:32:33Cross-border human trafficking network.
00:32:36Major scale.
00:32:39General Crane says Phantom Squad can't pull it off without Shadow.
00:32:43Shadow, General Crane needs you.
00:32:46The unit needs you.
00:32:50Shadow's dead.
00:32:53Shadow was everything I signed up to be.
00:32:55She was the gold standard.
00:32:57Watching you mop floors and refuse to even say her name.
00:33:02It's a hard pill to swallow.
00:33:04That's not my problem.
00:33:06This operation is connected to the truth behind Frank's death.
00:33:11You really don't want the truth?
00:33:15Come back with me.
00:33:19I'm not gonna push you.
00:33:20When you're ready, if you're ever ready, we'll be there.
00:33:31Why was he in there?
00:33:34What would he want with Elise?
00:33:39Elise.
00:33:50Are you hurt, Elise?
00:33:52Old habit. Nothing new.
00:33:54Elise, do you need a doctor?
00:33:57I'm fine.
00:34:01I need to rest.
00:34:02Good night.
00:34:06I'm fine.
00:34:10I'm fine.
00:34:10I'm fine.
00:34:11I'm fine.
00:34:13I'm fine.
00:34:28I know who I am.
00:34:30I know that, I know who I am.
00:34:33You always told me.
00:34:35A soldier doesn't fight just to make it back alive.
00:34:38but dad you were supposed to be a father first i've spent the last year going through everything
00:34:48someone leaked the route before that operation
00:34:54it wasn't an accident someone set it up someone wanted you both dead
00:35:08whoever did it is still out there walking around living a life they probably haven't missed a
00:35:15single night of sleep and i can't even stand up
00:35:25if it wasn't for that person dad would you still be here
00:35:40i don't care what it takes i will find out who did it
00:35:45and whoever did this they will pay in blood
00:35:53i'm sorry
00:36:00derek i need to talk to you little late for that
00:36:04i know i was impulsive but derek you know how i feel about you i couldn't just stand there and
00:36:10watch you give more attention to a cleaning lady than to me don't call her that again elise is part
00:36:17of valor and you're the one who chose to leave if you'll take me back i'll cut ties with marian
00:36:22i'll
00:36:23come valor doesn't take back people who walk out when it counts and it doesn't take back people who
00:36:27treat their teammates like bargaining chips show yourself out leah
00:36:39don't come crying to me when meridian comes back around
00:36:43and they will
00:36:52i still can't get over it
00:36:54our janitor for the first two weeks i honestly thought she was a mute
00:36:57she's not the janitor ray she's the reason we still have a training center
00:37:01fair point but seriously if she can do all that why is she here mopping floors
00:37:04you know something don't you everyone gets to make their own choices fair enough
00:37:11but meridian isn't done with us gina doesn't lose and walk away clean
00:37:16we'll deal with it when it comes
00:37:25reporting in
00:37:28mission complete
00:37:31your kids are okay the center's still standing
00:37:36i don't know how much longer i can stay
00:37:39if it wasn't for that person dad would you still be here
00:38:02if she won't come back
00:38:05i'll go to breithhoven myself
00:38:18that bullet was meant for me
00:38:22you knew it
00:38:24you knew it
00:38:25so did i
00:38:26elisa
00:38:37if i'd caught it a second sooner
00:38:39if it wasn't for that person
00:38:41dad would you still be here
00:38:42if it wasn't for me you'd still be at that table
00:38:45you'd have seen him walk again
00:38:49so i can't leave
00:38:51but i can't stay either
00:38:53i wait until he's on his feet
00:38:56until they don't need me anymore
00:39:00then i go
00:39:02and i get you an answer
00:39:04does that count as paying it back
00:39:21every thread we pull leads back to meridian group whatever they're running it has international arm backing
00:39:27no wonder they're so over pairing
00:39:30we need hard evidence
00:39:32something that holds
00:39:34most of the operational records have been sealed by military command
00:39:36the only way around that is
00:39:41if valor establishes a formal talent pipeline with phantom squad
00:39:46we get access to military cooperation channels
00:39:49that opens doors
00:40:03a partnership with phantom squad
00:40:10ray sit down
00:40:13elise come join us
00:40:16someone else can handle that
00:40:18it's my job mr albright
00:40:31elise go sit down
00:40:32we've got this
00:40:35yeah we handle the mops
00:40:37but you're the commander in the keefe
00:40:49actually elise someone that good
00:40:52were you phantom squad
00:40:56let's stay on track
00:40:58a phantom squad partnership is perfect
00:41:01meridian won't touch us if we have that kind of backing
00:41:05the talent selection trials are in a month
00:41:08that's our window
00:41:11mr albright
00:41:12if things were different we'd be a lock
00:41:15right now
00:41:16i'm not sure we can even get an invitation
00:41:18could nathan pull some strings
00:41:21general crane runs the selection trials
00:41:23nathan simply doesn't have the authority to interfere
00:41:27so we're stuck
00:41:29we don't give up on this
00:41:32the partnership protects valor
00:41:35but it's also the only way i get to the truth about what happened to my father
00:41:52this operation is connected to the truth behind frank's death
00:41:57it's time to face him
00:42:00we go straight to general crane
00:42:10elene do you think general crane will actually see us
00:42:13don't get your hopes up kiddo lobby's open to anyone
00:42:17past those doors is a different story
00:42:21let's go
00:42:28general services are to the left
00:42:30beyond this point is for authorized personnel and scheduled appointments only
00:42:33we're here to see general crane
00:42:35appointment confirmation number
00:42:38we don't have one
00:42:40then please use the recruitment intake process or register at the front desk
00:42:43the general doesn't take walk-ins
00:42:57we don't have one
00:43:05general
00:43:07please tell general crane that
00:43:10elise voss is here
00:43:18general the international trafficking network shadow is the only one who can crack it wide open
00:43:23she's still refusing to return
00:43:25she's in a bad place the ptsd is hitting her hard
00:43:28and yet she stepped up to protect frank's children
00:43:31she says shadow is dead
00:43:34she'll come back
00:43:39elise voss no record of that name here
00:43:44well that's just embarrassing
00:43:46we're still seeing him right
00:43:52of all people
00:43:55valor training center showing up here
00:43:57don't tell me you're begging for a selection invite too
00:44:01miss harlow phantom squad only has one partnership slot in bright haven
00:44:04if they get in ahead of us we're done
00:44:15mr elbright and his janitor
00:44:24this is harlow good to see you go right ahead
00:44:30wait why does she get in and we don't
00:44:32mrs harlow runs meridian group biggest private security firm in the city
00:44:37who are you people exactly we're nobody
00:44:40don't sweat it not worth knowing
00:44:43and you want to see general crane
00:44:47mr albright i know elise is the real deal but we're swinging blind here no appointment no
00:44:51credentials we didn't think this through
00:44:53get nathan out here on whose authority you think captain cross comes out when someone snaps their
00:44:58fingers so what exactly brings valor all the way up here elise brought us we're here for an
00:45:02invitation to next month's fan squad selection trial you let a janitor talk you into doorstop in general
00:45:07mrs harlow you hearing this they actually let the janitor make the call the woman you keep
00:45:13calling the janitor to your entire meridian crew apart three days ago all of them
00:45:20i told you to get nathan are you moving or am i hello nathan lobby now
00:45:33what a performance you actually gave captain cross an order who do you think you are just come to
00:45:38meridian guys miss harlow has the connections to get you in front of general crane think about it
00:45:42mr albright i know exactly why you want access to phantom squad but nothing i set my sights on has
00:45:46ever gotten away from me not once it's the first time for everything as long as i'm standing here
00:45:51nobody is handing valor a selection trials invitation nobody as far as i know meridian is a large
00:45:57operation but not large enough to dictate phantom squad's decisions please let's just come let me be
00:46:02clear resources determine who gets chosen you either have them or you don't the only reason valor was
00:46:08ever on my radar was frank's name that's it think hard about your next move
00:46:19mr albright let's go we'll find another way this isn't one take care of yourself phia
00:46:25the one who should be worried is you derek
00:46:27putting your faith in a janitor a woman like that being inside this building at all is already more
00:46:33than she deserves escort them out back off we're leaving on our own who said she doesn't belong here
00:46:46captain cross we met just yesterday
00:46:54you've made up your mind i need to see harold
00:47:02you thought you had the authority to stop her captain cross we didn't know who she was
00:47:07the general's been waiting go ahead
00:47:13why is captain cross talking to elise like that
00:47:18hold on captain cross this is a breach of protocol valor training center has no appointment on record
00:47:29they do now frank was practically cross his brother in arms he might actually hand eric the invitation just on
00:47:37that basis
00:47:40captain cross this is a blatant abuse of authority i won't stand for it
00:47:48go ahead i'll take it straight to general crane if i have to
00:47:53captain captain the general's policy is clear results are the only thing that matter even you can't override that
00:48:03what about a general
00:48:14general crane i'm the ceo of meridian group we've spoken by phone
00:48:24you finally showed up
00:48:30general i'm sorry but you might have the wrong person
00:48:33this is miss harlow the maririan representative you've been in contact with
00:48:37i need an invitation to the phantom squad selection trials who do you think you are
00:48:42general crane is a senior commander you're a janitor
00:48:46you don't walk in here and make demands derrick get your janitor out of here right now follow me
00:48:55i'm sorry what who is elise
00:48:59this way general meridian is the top tier center in this city three
00:49:04consecutive nutritional championships city champions
00:49:09that's right munipiscipal level in this region is second tier nationally
00:49:16at best is that the standard you're asking her to step in for
00:49:28general with all due respect using a custodian to humiliate us is beneath you
00:49:33getting to see her in action at all that's already more than you deserve
00:49:41let's go
00:49:48they're a second-rate training center why does general crane roll out the welcome mat for them
00:49:53general crane isn't here for valor he's here for her miss harlow who is she find out who she is
00:49:59now
00:50:00everything i won't let her ruin my plans if she gets in the way handle her
00:50:08mr albright why do both general crane and nathan treat elise like she's someone i didn't know before
00:50:15but now i think i'm starting to i know too i think she's
00:50:28a once in a generation talent look someone that capable doesn't end up mopping floors for no reason
00:50:33is she in trouble running from something don't you dare say that about elise yeah ray elise took
00:50:40the hit from meridian group for us she got us in front of general crane and this is how you
00:50:44talk
00:50:44about her i'm just saying general crane she knows general crane senior commander of phantom squad
00:50:50how does a janitor have that kind of pull took you a year to come back i'm here for a
00:50:57selection
00:50:57trials invitation for valor training center for frank i owe him phantom squad only takes the best
00:51:06we don't hand out participation i'll train them myself shadow training them personally
00:51:15i'd like to see that
00:51:19but i have one condition report to do
00:51:31i already resigned you never resigned since frank died you've been showing up at every hot zone on the
00:51:39map you just stopped filing reports
00:51:45who would i file them to the same compromised system that got him killed that situation was
00:51:55complicated elise the greater good right that's always the answer
00:52:07what about frank who pays for his life who answers for what happened to him
00:52:17this time's different we've got a full chain of evidence financials communications foreign handler
00:52:23contacts all of it you're ready to close the net
00:52:29but this operation needs you leading it
00:52:37i do you know why frank stepped in front of that bullet because he believed you would survive it
00:52:43not to spend the rest of your life paying a debt to finish what he couldn't
00:52:51and if this time turns out the same way this is on me i'll take full responsibility
00:53:16how did it go
00:53:24general crane gave us the invitation selection trials are in one month
00:53:30we're actually in we have a real shot
00:53:33a shot maybe but winning that's a long shot starting today i run the training program elise
00:53:43building a competitive unit from scratch isn't just about drills it's from this second elise is
00:53:48valor's head instructor end of story there's one more thing mr albright what valor is missing right
00:53:56now isn't a training method it's a leader who won't quit
00:54:04the trainees aren't afraid of losing to meridian they're afraid you'll give up on them first
00:54:10the most valuable thing frank left behind isn't this training center it's
00:54:18i know what i need to do
00:54:30if it weren't for that damn janitor valor would be under my thumb by now
00:54:43i know what i need to do
00:54:44dad i didn't know you were back
00:54:49we pull out all data and records transferred within the week
00:54:53freeze the offshore accounts stagger the personnel extraction small groups different routes
00:54:59pull out we have military contacts backing us what chain
00:55:03military contacts die like everyone else
00:55:14shadow has resurfaced word is she's returning to active duty shadow the phantom squad solo operator
00:55:21that shadow the one and only
00:55:25can you handle her
00:55:34she almost killed me a year ago
00:55:45this time i will put my hands around her throat myself
00:55:50from this point forward do nothing sit still and wait for extraction
00:55:58even if we're leaving i'm not walking away until that janitor gets what's coming to her
00:56:15you three are the best we've got
00:56:18starting today elise is your lead instructor
00:56:22you've all seen what she can do for the past two years we've been losing
00:56:27but losing isn't the end the real failure is losing the nerve to get back up
00:56:34one month from now we will take valor's name back
00:56:40they're yours
00:56:43mr albright do you honestly believe elise can turn them into champions in a month
00:56:47she doesn't seem to deal in probabilities just outcomes
00:56:51that's enough for me is dr shaw here yet almost
00:56:56i guess it's time i learned to stand again dr shaw says your recovery is ahead of schedule
00:57:03by a fair margin then let's push it further
00:57:10mr albright we found out who your father stepped in front of the bullet for who shadow
00:57:28is that elise i found it when i started digging so elise was frank's partner she's shadow
00:57:44you said valor doesn't go down i agreed i don't bet my life on luck
00:57:56she's been carrying all of it alone
00:58:05this whole time
00:58:09dr shaw's here
00:58:18stand up give it a try
00:58:23don't get discouraged the bone structure has fully healed your mobility is coming back faster
00:58:29than you think thank you focus on your rehab from here on out that's all you need
00:58:42bro here
00:58:54mr albright take a few steps go on
00:59:10dad i did it
00:59:18give me a little more time i'll protect all of this myself soon
00:59:25meridian group pose as a security and staffing stuff but that's just a front underneath it's a
00:59:30transnational mercenary operation every training center they take over gets folded into private
00:59:34combat units off the books jobs the owner of thunderstrike training center left something behind
00:59:38before he died a usb drive everything meridian has done financials operations personnel it's all on
00:59:44it do we have it still working on that your only mission is to get back to your peak when
00:59:50we move we
00:59:50get back to your peak when we move fast
01:00:00keep going
01:00:03she trains them all day then pushes herself all night she's going to collapse
01:00:15you need to stop
01:00:43she's stable for now
01:00:46when a ptsd patient pushes this hard it's not just physical burnout they're speeding up
01:00:50the trauma response it starts overwhelming the brain the psychological and physical collapse can
01:00:54be severe this is a big deal i understand and take care of yourself while you're at it those legs
01:00:59just heal you shouldn't be putting weight on them yet
01:01:17i'll be careful
01:01:28you passed out during training mr albright how are you feeling anything still hurting i'm fine
01:01:37you've been pushing yourself non-stop all week even the strongest people have their limits
01:01:42my dad used to say that real strength means knowing when to hold something in reserve
01:01:46you can't protect anyone if you've got nothing left
01:01:52valor isn't yours to carry alone you've already done more than enough
01:02:06for the longest time i couldn't help but think if the accident had never happened would my father
01:02:11still be alive today eventually i figured out that living with that question won't get you anywhere
01:02:17you just keep moving forward that's all you can do
01:02:25get some sleep tonight real sleep
01:02:38if you knew your father died because of me
01:02:42would you still say that
01:02:48we got the thunderstrike owner's drive
01:02:52he was undercover at thunderstrike
01:02:55after the owner was killed he recovered the drive
01:02:58meridian's people tracked him down before we could reach him
01:03:01by the time we found him he was already
01:03:06meridian damn them
01:03:08mr albright we've got a problem the front entrance is packed with reporters
01:03:11they're asking for the head instructor we can't hold them back
01:03:14has elise's identity been leaked
01:03:17doesn't matter if meridian wants a show let's give them a headliner what's the plan
01:03:37is
01:03:38mr albright has valor really run out of qualified personnel promoting a janitor to head instructor
01:03:43is that surrender or just a pr stunt
01:03:48ignore them
01:03:50keep going you are working as a janitor here
01:03:54do you honestly believe you're qualified to run this program no comment please leave the facility
01:03:59are you trying to prove something or is there another reason you're here that's enough
01:04:04valor doesn't hire titles
01:04:11we only care about results
01:04:15but she has no public record
01:04:17one week ago meridian lost to her
01:04:21if you still have doubts wait for the phantom squad selection trials
01:04:26check the scoreboard when it's over if we lose that's on valor if we win
01:04:30that's fair that's very generous of you mr albright
01:04:57this is harlow can you give us more details
01:05:16she left phantom squad a year ago
01:05:20she and frank were partners
01:05:23am i wrong
01:05:28elise is it true
01:05:32sweetheart
01:05:33she came here to mop floors because she couldn't live with the guilt
01:05:36she's not here for you she's here for herself
01:05:46mr albright
01:05:48hand over what we came for you seem anxious mrs harlow
01:05:51why don't you tell everyone here exactly what it is you're looking for
01:05:54give it to me now and i walk away from valor for good you have my word
01:06:01if anyone here is curious about what miss harlow is referring to

01:08:41it's surfaced
01:08:43derek has it
01:08:48derek's in danger meridian has already started moving
01:08:57the moment derek goes public with that drive
01:09:01and if out wins valor becomes a battlefield
01:09:07sir derek just released everything live in front of the press all of it
01:09:14the moment of the press all of it is
01:09:27the moment of the press is
01:09:28meridian group has been operating a transnational criminal network
01:09:32work. They use security and training programs as cover. Recruit people, turn them into mercenaries
01:09:43and deploy them overseas. Deploying them into armed conflictions, human trafficking operations
01:09:50and coordinated activity with terrorist organizations. Mr. Albright, do you have hard evidence to
01:09:58support this? Five years. Every transaction, every transfer, every name, it's all on here. Derek, you're a dead man! Derek
01:10:12is so unyielding, he's pushing the Meridian
01:10:14crowd to their breaking point. Shadow, don't run into this. You go in blind right now and you don't come
01:10:19back out. I'm bringing the drive back.
01:10:27We move now. Two teams. First team hits Meridian Group directly. Second team supports Shadow. Yes, sir.
01:11:07Coach Voss, don't shoot. It's us.
01:11:14Where's Derek?
01:11:18Meridian took him.
01:11:31Brett, take Kerr to Phantom Squad. Find General Crane and give him this backup directly. I'm not leaving. We fight,
01:11:38all of us, together. We take Meridian right here.
01:11:41I'm staying too.
01:11:47Ray, take the backup.
01:11:50Get the trainees to the safe house in the West District. Wait for General Crane's people. Mr. Albright, Valor doesn't
01:11:57leave its own behind.
01:11:59That's not who we are.
01:12:00We stay! We fight! We're not going anywhere!
01:12:03Enough!
01:12:06My father died holding the line. Noah died for that drive. That's enough. No more.
01:12:14Valor needs all of you alive. When Phantom Squad moves on Meridian, they're going to need you there to back
01:12:18them.
01:12:20Take care of them. I'll be okay. That's what happened.
01:12:26That stubborn idiot!
01:12:30Coach Voss, this is the backup. You know General Crane. Please, Coach, bring him home.
01:12:47Where did they take him, Ray?
01:12:49Mr. Albright figured they'd take him. He planted a GPS on himself before the press conference. This is the sync
01:12:53terminal.
01:12:56Did it never occur to him that Gina would just kill him right there?
01:12:59He said Meridian can't be sure the drive doesn't have a backup, so they won't move on him until they
01:13:03know every copy is accounted for. They need him alive to find out.
01:13:18Mrs. Harlow, the military has frozen all our accounts. Everything.
01:13:24Everything.
01:13:25Everything.
01:13:26Everything.
01:13:34You did this? You went and burned everything we built.
01:13:42You burned it yourselves. The moment you started.
01:13:48Shut your mouth! You think I won't kill you right now?
01:13:51Hmph.
01:14:00The drive has been backed up. You kill me, every copy goes public immediately.
01:14:09The Harlems are finished. All of it.
01:14:20You want to know what I enjoy most?
01:14:24Watching heroes beg is by peace.
01:14:40Mrs. Harlow, phantom squad hasn't moved. The military froze the accounts, but they haven't deployed any troops.
01:14:49Which means they still don't have the drive. Last chance. Tell me where every backup is. All of them.
01:15:02You're done fighting.
01:15:06What do you think happens next? You get lucky again?
01:15:16My father taught me something. Don't bet your life on luck.
01:15:31Put them down.
01:15:44You've been on your feet this whole time. You played everyone.
01:15:50Back off. Or she doesn't walk out of here.
01:15:56Derek, you think you've won?
01:16:10Let her go. Now!
01:16:14Oh?
01:16:16That got you worked up?
01:16:18Leah, you're really siding with Meridian Group?
01:16:21There's no turning back after this!
01:16:23The day you turned me away from Valor, that was it!
01:16:25There was no road back after that.
01:16:28Elise is coming! She'll get us out!
01:16:34The janitor? Please.
01:16:36She's a phantom squad reject, Cora. She isn't doing a damn thing.
01:16:39My father has snipers surrounding this building right now. She walks through that door. She dies before she takes two
01:16:45steps.
01:16:51Put the knife down.
01:16:54Hand over every backup. Maybe I let your sister go.
01:17:09Derek, I'm not scared!
01:17:15Don't touch her!
01:17:21Last chance, Derek. Let Miss Harlow go, or your sister pays for it.
01:17:26Last time. Let Miss Harlow go.
01:17:33Stop!
01:17:58You know what I hate the most? People like you who aren't afraid to die.
01:18:05Let Cora go. Let her go, or every copy of that evidence goes public the second I'm dead.
01:18:18Then you both go together.
01:18:25You're out of options, Derek. Hand over every backup. I'll make it quick for both of you.
01:18:40Mrs. Harlow, the feed's dead. All cameras are dark.
01:18:44What?
01:18:46Perimeter's dark! Coms are jammed! We're totally cut off!
01:18:51It's Elise! She's coming!
01:18:54Shut up! No one is coming!
01:18:56Nobody is coming for you. My father's men have every exit covered.
01:19:00There are snipers on the roof.
01:19:17Is that so?
01:19:18No one is coming for you.
01:19:38So...
01:19:40Who's surrounding whom now?
01:19:55Phantom Squad is already moving.
01:19:58There's a real chance they find this location.
01:20:03Let them try. 300 feet. No blind spots. They step in, they're dead.
01:20:11Word is Shadow is part of this operation.
01:20:14Even better.
01:20:15Time to settle everything.
01:20:17The Phantom Squad is already moving.
01:20:20That's going to be a disappointment.
01:20:22You slipped through the net a year ago.
01:20:24Not today.
01:20:32You...
01:20:43You want to live? Then stop moving.
01:20:46That's not possible.
01:20:48I had people covering every approach at the base of this hill.
01:20:52They were slow.
01:21:12No! That's not possible! How did you get in here?
01:21:15Dad! How did she...
01:21:17She's just a janitor. She's supposed...
01:21:18She's not a janitor. She's Shadow.
01:21:27She's a janitor. There's no way she's Shadow.
01:21:30That's not poss...
01:21:31No! No! That's...
01:21:32So what if you're Shadow?
01:21:34Let them go.
01:21:35Two hostages!
01:21:36You have one. One for one.
01:21:38Get me a car now, or they both die.
01:21:41Take Korra. Go.
01:21:49Korra, get down!
01:22:05You're okay.
01:22:07I've got you.
01:22:11This is your fault, Derek.
01:22:12You ruined me. You ruined everything!
01:22:15You...
01:22:30You...
01:22:32You...
01:22:34You...
01:22:43You...
01:23:01What is wrong with you why you were supposed to hate me
01:23:11He never hated you he made you leave on purpose he did it to protect you
01:23:20You knew
01:23:23You knew the whole time
01:23:24For a while now
01:23:26Valor isn't yours to carry alone you've already done more than enough
01:23:30For the longest time I couldn't help but think if the accident had never happened would my father still be
01:23:36alive today
01:23:38Eventually I figured out that living with that question won't get you anywhere
01:23:41You just keep moving forward
01:23:44That's all you can do
01:23:46I'm so sorry
01:23:54My dad took that bullet because he was a soldier
01:24:01I took yours
01:24:03Because I wanted to save the woman I love
