00:00Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued a one-week ultimatum to Belarus
00:05to shut down relay equipment on the border with Ukraine that he claimed was being used to guide Russian drone
00:12attacks.
00:13During a media briefing in Kyiv on Friday, Zelenskyy threatened Ukraine will target the raiders
00:19if Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko does not do anything to address it.
00:50In 2022, Moscow used Belarus as a launch pad for its attack on Ukraine
00:55and has been trying to drag Minsk further to its wall.
01:00Meanwhile, at least one person was killed and nine others were injured, including a child,

02:32A train driver has died after two train services collided in the Bedford area of the UK on Friday

02:42East Midlands Railway EMR said its service from Corby to London St Pancras
02:48crashed into the Nottingham to London St Pancras service at Bedford South on Friday evening.
02:53At around 5.15 last night, we were called to reports of a collision between two East Midlands trains
03:00close to Elstow, Red Bedford.
03:03Tragically, the driver of one of the trains died in the collision.
03:08His family have been informed and our deepest condolences are with them,
03:12his friends and his colleagues at East Midlands Railway.
03:16Passengers described scenes of chaos and confusion
03:20as emergency crews responded to the fatal train collision.

03:27There were people with bloodied faces, broken bones.
03:31People were screaming and crying.
03:34There was chaos in the train.
03:37In the post on X, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the incident hugely concerning
03:42and thanked emergency services for their swift response.
03:49A Spanish court has ordered the wife of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Begonia Gómez,
03:55to stand trial by jury for corruption and banned her from leaving the country,
03:59according to a court order released on Saturday.
04:02Judge Juan Carlos Peinado ordered Gómez to hand in her passport
04:06and to appear before the court twice a month until a verdict is reached in the case, the ruling said.
04:10Gómez faces allegations of embezzlement, influence peddling, corruption in business dealings
04:16and misappropriation of funds.
04:18The case was opened in 2024 and centers on her activities linked to Madrid's Complutense University
04:24and relationships with private companies.
04:26The court is seeking to determine whether Gómez had exploited her position as Sánchez's wife
04:31for private gain, which she and the Prime Minister deny.
04:35The case originated from a complaint filed by an anti-corruption group with far-right ties.
04:40Sanchez has dismissed the allegations against his wife as an attempt by the right wing
04:44to undermine his socialist government.
