01:15do? You have a little one and you're just. You wait. No mom's not around. I see a lot
01:20of guys bring young girls into the men's room. When guys are in. I've been standing peeing
01:24and a guy has brought his daughter in. I mean. Yeah. Whatever. They just got to go to the
01:28bathroom. Yeah. No big deal. It's weird because guys are at urinals a little bit different.

02:02This dad has found himself at the center of the great bathroom debate. He was at a gas station
02:07and his two young daughters needed to use the restroom. There wasn't a family restroom,
02:12so he took them into the women's bathroom, leading to a confrontation with a guy who called
02:18911. As Stephen Fabian reports, it's a dilemma for parents coast to coast. Which is the appropriate
02:24bathroom to go in with young children? With Father's Day just around the corner, this video's putting the
02:30spotlight on a dilemma. Lots of dad's face at some point. There is a man with his two little girls
02:36using the women's bathroom. This dad is in the ladies room because his two little girls just had
02:41to go. And the guy in the doorway is really upset. He's refusing. He's taking his sweet time.

03:27you went in to make sure nobody else was in there, right? Yeah, yeah. It is uncomfortable going into a
03:32woman's bathroom as a man. So yeah, I always check. The video is sparking big response on social media.
03:39You did absolutely nothing wrong. But there was also this comment. If the child needs assistance,

03:51daughters. Do you see any problem with me taking them into the ladies room if there's no one else in
03:56there? There is no problem. I see no problem in a parent taking their young child into a bathroom,

05:55And someone said, I'd personally want to do that rather than go into a men's room with
05:59my daughter. There could be a bunch of weirdos in there. Yeah. 100%. I've gone into the ladies
06:03room with my four-year-old daughter. I announce as I'm coming in. Dad coming in. So I don't
06:08surprise anyone. Some guys said the same thing. I just always announce, solo girl dad here
06:13coming in. Yep. I absolutely take them into the bathroom. I don't care what anyone thinks.
06:19My job is to protect my daughters. Yep. Yeah. Yeah. We're all private in there. It's like
06:27fine. Yeah. It's okay. And I think that women are very understanding at the same time. They're
06:32like, oh my God, this dad is like taking care of his daughter. You know, you have a daughter.
06:38Usually it's not every single time because there's some weirdos out there. But boy, does it change
06:43your whole entire life when it comes to all that stuff when you have a daughter? Yeah. Yeah. You
06:48know? Of course. And I didn't deal with this. I had two boys. So it was never an issue, right?
06:52I just always took them into the men's room. But Amber would take them in if I wasn't around,

07:09the girls' bathroom one time. We were out and tried to the men's room and it was filled.
07:15So I took her to the girls' room. I kind of dashed in real quick, jumped into a stall and
07:20the women went crazy. They went and got the manager and the manager had to calm them down
07:27from, you know, saying, hey, the dad, his daughter, she had to go. Didn't want her to
07:31have an accident in her pants. Yep. So we did what we had to do. Did you announce you
07:36were coming in? Like, did you say anything? I kind of told the women, I told the women
07:41that were standing outside the bathroom, like, hey, my daughter, she's got her go. So we're
07:46going in. But not for the women inside already. No, I didn't get a chance to tell them because
07:52my daughter really had to go. Yeah. Would you do anything differently next time or have
07:56you done it since or no? I've had to do it a couple of times and I announced it more,
08:02but at that particular moment, it was more like she was telling me she really had to
08:07go and we were trying to work on potty training. So didn't want to have an accident

08:24were really young, you know? So that would be, that would have fallen on Patty's. Like,

10:59peeing. So I like took my phone out and I was like, Oh no.

11:43when the man confronted him in an Alabama quick trip gas station because the dude's daughter
11:47needed to use the bathroom, his daughter's, and he was mad at this guy for being in the ladies room.
11:52The Mississippi man who called police on the father just lost his realtor gig.
12:00A rep with his company, his real estate company, says the man was an independent contractor and
12:07licensed realtor on a trip not affiliated with our company. But since the bathroom video made
12:12national headlines, the company has decided to no longer use his services because our values don't
12:18align.
