Prime Minister Narendra Modi met U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G7 Summit and reportedly raised concerns over the deaths of Indian nationals in recent U.S. military strikes near the Strait of Hormuz. Modi emphasized the safety and welfare of Indians in conflict zones and sought clarity on the circumstances surrounding the incident. The discussion also covered regional security, maritime stability, and the growing tensions in West Asia. The high-level meeting comes amid escalating geopolitical risks and renewed international focus on protecting civilians and foreign nationals caught in conflict-hit regions.
