00:00What brings you out today?
00:01I just wrapped a 16-city tour last night in Boston,
00:05and I flew here this morning. Happy to be here.
00:07So, if you could get in a recording studio with someone today,
00:11they will not say no, you have all the money in the world.
00:15Who is it?
00:16John Bellion, I would say.
00:18Why is that?
00:19Just an incredible songwriter and producer,
00:22and I love his music, and I love everything he does.
00:26Also, Charlie Puth would be pretty cool.
00:28He's obviously a genius.
00:29We've got to talk about the reunion.
00:31Do we?
00:32Yes.
00:33Who said that?
00:34Andy Cohen said it's like the most intense reunion ever.
00:38It was.
00:39Yeah, I watched it on the drive over here, the flight, sorry.
00:44Yeah, great reunion, really juicy.
00:47Unfortunately, it's about our friend group,
00:49so that's the tough part, but really entertaining stuff.
00:53Did anyone get up and leave?
00:55Uh, in the first part, nobody left, but I think there's three parts.
01:02Three parts of the reunion?
01:03Yeah, people leave, but they all come back.
01:06Did you learn anything during the reunion that you were even shocked by?
01:10Uh, yeah, for sure.
01:12I mean, you'll see it unfold, but it's definitely, like, worse than I expected.
01:19Worse than you expected?
01:20Yeah, I was hoping to leave there, and we would all be, like, you know, find a little bit
01:25of common ground, maybe be able to repair things, but it didn't feel that way.
01:32No, when you walked away from the reunion, not everyone was friends again.
01:36No, definitely not, no, no.
01:38It wasn't like a, oh, like, it's all good.
01:41Kumbaya, no.
01:42No, no, no kumbaya.
01:43Why do you keep going back?
01:45Why do I keep going back?
01:47I mean, I love my friends, I love the Hamptons, and, uh, I don't know, maybe I'll find love
01:52this summer, who knows.
01:55But are you nervous about all that drama, all of that, I mean, you just said the reunion
02:00was worse than you expected.
02:02Yeah, but at least we did it, you know?
02:04Um, I love these people, so I'm hopeful that we'll always go out there and have fun and
02:11be ourselves and be vulnerable, and I think the show is as popular as it's ever been for
02:16a reason, and hopefully we keep doing our thing.
02:20How shocked were you when Amanda and Wes went public?
02:24I was shocked.
02:25You'll see that in the reunion, um, because, like, the day before they were telling me to
02:30my face on text, whatever, that it wasn't true.
02:32Are you serious?
02:34That is drama.
02:35Drama?
02:36I didn't know you were a big drama guy.
02:39No, summer house is drama, dude.
02:41It is tea, yeah, it's been good.
02:43But, uh...
02:44They were telling you the day before.
02:46I mean, within the, a few days before the reunion, like, when your friend's telling you
02:51something and you trust them, you believe it.
02:53So, yeah, it was obviously shocking.
02:55What was the text you sent to them when they were in public with their relationship?
03:01I ended up texting Wes.
03:02I was like, what's up?
03:05He was like, not much.
03:07You?
03:07I was like, that was, that was how it started.
03:12You're like, wait till the reunion.
03:14Yeah.
03:15Yeah, you'll see.
03:16It's, obviously, it's juicy.
03:19What's next for you music-wise?
03:21Um, I'm releasing a single called Wildfire on June 12th.
03:24I'm really excited about it.
03:26It's a record I really believe in.
03:28And, uh, yeah, I'm just gonna take a break from, I just was on the road for a month.
03:34So, I'm excited to be done.
03:35I'm gonna go on vacation and then go back to the Hamptons.
03:38Back to the Hamptons.
03:40Will there be new people in the house this year?
03:42You gotta imagine, yeah.
03:43Yeah, but I'm just Jesse Solomon.
03:45I'm not, uh, casting.
