00:00Did the Red Sox lose the Garrett Crochet deal?
00:03This sounds so absurd on the surface to suggest this,
00:08that they somehow have lost the deal.
00:13Because couldn't Garrett Crochet be back from his injury
00:16in a matter of a few weeks and be back to his normal self?
00:19Isn't that a possibility?
00:20Are you open to that possibility?
00:22I know that I am.
00:25And I'm not upset that the prospects moved in that deal
00:29are now going to make an impact at the Major League level
00:33for the Chicago White Sox.
00:34Isn't that what we expected to happen?
00:37Did you expect that you traded for Garrett Crochet
00:40and the ceiling of Garrett Crochet,
00:43which through one year was excellent?
00:47Did you expect to give up players
00:48that were never going to turn into Major Leaguers?
00:50What did you think was going to happen?
00:52Did you think they were going to suck?
00:54No, I think there's a conversation, though,
00:55when you talk about some of the other deals
00:56that you saw a guy like Dave Dombrowski make
00:58and give up big-name prospects,
01:00and those guys never pan out the way that they were projected to.
01:03And the way that you look at some of these White Sox prospects
01:07are viewed right now that are coming up,
01:09and then you look at a guy like Marcelo Meyer
01:11who's struggled mightily since coming up to Boston
01:13and saying, wait, that was just as sexy,
01:16if not more sexy, of a prospect that you had.
01:19And can Breslow identify the right guy
01:22to move in those deals, right?
01:24Like, Dombrowski was so good at that
01:26and identifying who to hold on to
01:29and who to get rid of.
01:31And it feels like Breslow may have screwed that up
01:34and held on to the prospects
01:35that maybe you should have moved
01:36and got rid of some of the guys
01:38that can actually play
01:38and could have helped this team.
01:39And then, let's go to the side of the side of the side.
01:41And then, let's go to the side of the side of the side of the side.
01:41And then, let's go to the side of the side of the side of the side.
