00:00Kazakhstan's Jethusu region is hosting the first paragliding World Cup in Central Asia,
00:05bringing together around 150 pilots from 33 countries.
00:09The main discipline of this World Cup is cross-country flying.
00:13And it was always my dream to have such event in my local site as well,
00:17because I'm local from the city Tal Dikorgan.
00:18This is our advantage that we have, because our nature is very pristine,
00:24it's very wild, especially in Jethusu region.
00:26And this is what pilots are telling me,
00:29this is the key elements that they don't have in Europe,
00:32because Europe, European nature is very civilized, I would say.
00:36This is what brings them to see something like this,
00:39which is untouched by the human civilization yet.
00:43And to fly above such mountains with such good view, it's amazing.
00:49Jethusu is among the first regions in Central Asia where paragliding started to develop as a sport.
00:54The areas mountains, wide valleys and the stable thermals create perfect conditions for the flights.
00:58We can observe that there are participants from Canada,
01:04from Australia, from America, from almost all Europe and Asia.
01:09We are in general ready and plan to develop this kind of sport
01:13as one of the iconic events in Kazakhstan.
01:18This is a pretty big evidence that the area of Jethusu is the magnet of
01:25doing such good and massive events as the World Cup for this type of sport.
01:33In 2028 Kazakhstan is set to host the Asian Championship in cross-country paragliding for the first time.
01:40So does this mean that the best performing arts high school systems can be shot in a way of being
01:40shot?
01:40It's a pretty big time, as I think it's about the present.
01:41So does this shape a lot of the world?
01:44So does this shape a lot of the Congratulations have a lot of the people doing?
01:44This is a pretty big question.
01:45So I really think I've missed the class with this to some extent.
