Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch refuses to apologise to Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson after calling her a "spiteful class warrior" in the House of Commons yesterday.

00:00So yesterday I said that Bridget Philipson was spiteful and incompetent.
00:05It's interesting that she hasn't complained about being incompetent and Keir Starmer didn't say that she was competent.
00:10What she has done is displace 40,000 children who have had to leave their schools, leave their friends, the
00:16teachers that they love,
00:17to find places elsewhere, either because the schools have closed or they don't have the money to pay the fees
00:23because of Bridget Philipson's taxes.
00:25But the reason why those taxes were put in place were to fund more teachers.
00:30Bridget Philipson promised 6,500 more teachers. We have 2,000 fewer teachers.
00:36We have gone backwards both years she has been Education Secretary. That is a failure.
00:40It is my job as leader of the opposition to hold her to account.
00:44I have plenty of respect for other Labour ministers like Shabana Mahmood or John Healy, who's just resigned.
