00:06according to International Monetary Fund chief Kristalina Georgieva.
00:10But she warned that risks remain high if the conflict escalates again and disrupts global energy supplies.
00:18Georgieva said higher energy prices have already pushed up the cost of food and fertilizers,
00:24adding to pressure on the global economy.
00:26She said the impact of the war has been uneven, with emerging economies in Asia and Africa among the most
00:33exposed.
00:34Oil prices remain around 30% above pre-war levels, despite easing from recent highs.
00:40Brent crude fell about 5% to around $83 a barrel after news of a US-Iran deal emerged,
00:46before slipping further to around $80 on Tuesday.
00:49Despite signs of easing, investors remain cautious amid uncertainty over the durability of any peace agreement.
