US Air Force B-52 bomber crashes in California, killing all 8 crew aboard

A B-52 bomber crashed shortly after takeoff at a U.S. Air Force base in Southern California’s Mojave Desert and burst into flames Monday (June 15), killing all eight people aboard.

Those on the B-52 included government contractors and uniformed military.
