00:00Now, I want to talk about a group that, for me, is probably the most difficult one.
00:05Yeah.
00:06Group I.
00:08Ay, can I hold.
00:09Ay, ay, ay.
00:10Ay, ay, ay.
00:10Really stand out.
00:11And he's made such a name for himself that wasn't around last World Cup.
00:15This is his World Cup, to make it show.
00:17And so, if there's any game that Norway's going to have, it's going to be this one where
00:22he has a chance to really shine.
00:25And if you're a rock, you're going to be really worried about this.
00:28This is going to be probably your toughest match here.
00:31Well, they got France as well, so I shouldn't say that.
00:34But yeah, I mean, Erland Holland's got everything to gain.
00:37Nothing to lose in this match coming up.
00:38What do you see Senegal being able to do against France?
00:41That's going to be tough.
00:42Another similar situation where a lot of the players from Senegal actually trained in France
00:47and born in France.
00:48But I think France is going to have this in the bag.
00:52I've been saying this from the beginning, that I'm kind of seeing France as one of the
00:55top teams to make it all the way.
00:57So, I don't see them struggling against a Senegal, Iraq, or even a Norway.
01:01But again, we've seen that anything can happen.
01:05Particularly, West African squads like Cameroon, like Senegal, they play so physical.
01:10They're so strong.
01:11And they're very fast as well.
01:13And that is something that France, a very tactical team, is going to have to go up against.
01:17And that's going to be a really good game.
01:19That's right, my friends.
01:20If you're just joining us on Sports Grid, this is Copa Nation, the live stream experience
01:25by Latin Nation Media and powered by the Latin Nation Football Club.
01:30I'm here with my homie, Nick C., my friend.
01:33We're back from break, but we continue right here on YouTube.
01:36No stop.
01:38We are doing this, Nick.
01:39Now, standout player so far.
01:43Do you have anyone that you say, this is my favorite player right now of all the games
01:46that have been played?
01:47Oh, my God.
01:47Okay.
01:48Egypt is just on my mind.
01:49Hamza was actually absolutely amazing.
01:52The goalkeeper for Capo Verde against, oh, my God.
01:5740 years old.
01:58Starting playing at 26 years old.
02:01Amazing.
02:01An amazing story.
02:03Who else?
02:04I mean, what about you?
02:05You got any players off the top of your head that you're...
02:07Dude, I got to give up me a culpa right now.
02:11Last week, I was on a podcast with Marimoto, good friend of ours.
02:15Acá entre Bro's podcast.
02:17And they asked me, what was the player that was going to disappoint in the World Cup?
02:21And I ran my mouth, and I say Pulisic.
02:24And I have to come up and say, I'm sorry.
02:26I was not familiar with your game, Christian Pulisic.
02:31And he surprised me.
02:32Yeah, tell me.
02:33What did you see in that game?
02:33Just the belief and the understanding of what the role of being the best player of your team means.
02:41For the first time, I saw Pulisic completely committed to the team,
02:46completely committed to his level of play.
02:48You can tell the difference that playing in Italy has made.
02:53And just the leadership in the team, just the bold decision-making that he had.
02:59It was surprising.
03:00It was...
03:01Look, for me, the fact that Mexico and Canada and the United States are doing well and playing well is
03:07very important.
03:08So I was happy to see Pulisic leading.
03:11Is Canada playing well?
03:12Canada is playing.
03:13Canada is playing.
03:15Definitely.
03:15But they were, of the three host nations, definitely they were the ones that, you know...
03:20Tying with Bosnia.
03:21Nos quedaron a deber.
03:22Bosnia.
03:23But Bosnia is not an easy team.
03:24No.
03:24They're not an easy team.
03:26Here's the thing.
03:26Again, for many people that join every four years into this world of football,
03:31they are welcome, los bienvenidos.
03:35Pero the reality is that some of these teams, they seem on paper unknown and not a big firepower.
03:42But some of these players, they're starting players in some of the best teams in some of the best leagues
03:47across the world.
03:48Yeah, 100%.
03:49Pulisic, I think, got a lot of, I'll say it again, question marks around him coming into this.
03:54Just because of, there was a lot of pressure on him being our star, our breakout star, who's, I guess,
04:00the one player on our squad who you could say is a household name.
04:02And I guess after some other tournaments, was it the Gold Cup or CONCACAF, where we were missing Pulisic,
04:10I think a lot of people started to question his allegiance to the team or his readiness to jump in.
04:15And then we started to question that.
04:17And he definitely showed it.
04:18He was untouchable.
04:20I would look over and there would be three guys guarding him and he was just getting through with ease,
04:26not to compare him to like Messi or something, but like the way that he was just kind of getting
04:30there,
04:31making space and feeding the center.
04:33And that is exactly what we got him for.
