00:32The academic festivities officially commenced on June 12, 2026, at the York University Graduation
00:39Ceremonies in Toronto, where Miss A. Girogane Miracle Yugola achieved a monumental milestone
00:44by graduating with first-class honors in computer science. Miss A. Girogane Miracle Yugola,
00:51daughter of prominent human rights activist, Reverend David Yugola and diaspora figure,
00:57Mrs. Ngozi Yugola, clinched first-class honors in computer science. Her feat was celebrated by
01:04attendees as a masterclass in determination, intellectual grit, and a shining example for
01:10women in STEM fields. Mrs. Ngozi Yugola said her daughter, A. Girogane's outstanding degree is
01:17the culmination of years of intense dedication, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to
01:22excellence. Friends and family at the reunion party described the scholar as exceptionally resilient,
01:29focused, and intellectually driven, saying, she distinguished herself in one of the most
01:35competitive fields on campus. Adding, as she transitions into the professional space,
01:40she is poised to make significant waves in technology, innovation, and global digital transformation.
01:47Sharing the academic spotlight was Miss Ivie A. Marianne Omereggi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
01:54Steve Omereggi, who graduated with first-class honors in nursing from Brock University.
01:59In recognition of her stellar character, academic record, and community impact, Omereggi was also
02:06awarded the prestigious Spirit of Brock Medal, a high-level distinction celebrating her campus
02:12leadership and commitment to service. The double milestone brought together notable diaspora figures
02:17and community pillars, including civil society leader comrade David Yugola, Jude Mofunai and his wife,
02:25Edna, engineer Richard Amadei and his wife, Barbara, surveyor Effig, and Afosa Akinjide Kiyodeisere.
02:32Following the formal university ceremonies, the Omereggi family hosted a grand reception in Toronto
02:39featuring vibrant music, exceptional hospitality, and intercessory prayers led by engineer Amadei.
02:46The event transformed into a true reunion of comrades, as guests traveled across several
02:51Canadian provinces and U.S. borders to stand in solidarity with the families.

03:38day filled with gratitude, excitement, and celebration. Adding, the graduation festivities were further
03:45enriched by the presence of my in-law, Mr. Jude Mofunaya, and his beloved wife, Edna, who, together with
03:53friends from various parts of Canada and the United States, attended both the graduation ceremony and
03:59the celebration that followed. Their presence added warmth, joy, and a strong sense of family and
04:06friendship. To the occasion, continuing, Rev. David Yugola thanked engineer Richard Amade, who offered
04:13heartfelt prayers and words of encouragement during the celebrations. Saying, alongside his beloved wife,
04:20Mrs. Barbara Amade, they both contributed immensely to the spiritual upliftment and joyful atmosphere of
04:27the gathering. Adding, their support, prayers, and goodwill were deeply appreciated by all.
04:34While thanking Mr. and Mrs. Steve Omereggi for jointly hosting the celebrants, Rev. David Yugola said the
04:42atmosphere was filled with laughter, excitement, dancing, and heartfelt congratulations as guests
04:48celebrated the accomplishments of the graduates. Everyone was delighted to share in the success of
