00:00DP World Tour is pretty unrecognizable from, you know, those periods where, you know, we had the biggest names in
00:08golf playing a lot throughout the calendar and some fantastic golf courses and some big events.
00:13What does the DP World Tour need to do in order to establish that identity again and give it a
00:21bet?
00:21It's sort of the best chance of being as successful as it possibly can.
00:25The DP World Tour, in an ideal world, should stop giving its 10 best players away.
00:30It doesn't take a genius to work that out.
00:32But that deal exists because the PGA Tour, again, from what I understand, is having its, sorry, the DP World
00:39Tour is having its funds supplemented by the PGA Tour.
00:44So that's the deal.
00:45If they take the 10 cards away, they take the money away.
00:48They're kind of damned if they do, they're damned if they don't.
00:50Yeah, I don't think the DP World Tour is, firstly, it's not as bad as I think everyone makes out.
00:56And I also don't think that it will ever get to where it was because the world's changed.
01:01You know, maybe we just have to accept that.
01:03And unless some of the DP World Tour can find an alternative source of funding, kind of a halla live,
01:09then maybe this is the deal they have to make.
01:12Yeah, in an ideal world, the DP World Tour would have a greater source of funding and they could kind
01:18of go real toe-to-toe with the PGA Tour.
01:21And I think that would make the game of golf better, which is, again, sort of, well, we haven't got
01:25time to go into it.
01:26But kind of what, if we're sort of looking at Liv, Liv's done a lot of good things.
01:32It made golf look at itself and say, actually, a lot of what we're doing is not right here.
01:36We need to change.
01:38So, yeah, I think the DP World Tour is in a tough position overall.
01:42But, yeah, I don't know what the answer is.
