00:40This announcement did not come from Washington.
00:42It did not come from Tehran, either.
00:45It came from Pakistan's Prime Minister Shabhat Sharif, who revealed the breakthrough to the world.
00:50And almost immediately after, Iranian state-linked media outlet Mare News released what it called a draft memorandum of understanding.
00:5914 clauses, 14 points that could reshape the entire region.
01:05U.S. and Iran has officially confirmed this with posts, and the details that have leaked out are massive.
01:12Let's break down what is actually on the table.
01:14Point 1. A permanent and immediate halt of war on all fronts, and that includes Lebanon.
01:22Point 2. The United States commits to not interfering in Iran's internal affairs, and to respecting the sovereignty of the
01:29Islamic Republic.
01:31Point 3. The complete lifting of the naval blockade, within just 30 days.
01:36Point 4. U.S. forces would withdraw from the areas surrounding Iran entirely.
01:41And here's the one that affects the entire world.
01:45Point 5. The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days, under Iranian arrangements.
01:52Remember, roughly one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas passes through that strait.
01:58If this happens, global energy markets are watching very closely.
02:03Point 6. Oil sanctions, petrochemical sanctions and derivatives would be suspended,
02:08and Iran would get full access to the financial proceeds.

02:14The U.S. and its allies would be required to present reconstruction plans for Iran, worth at least $300 billion.
