Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed with a warm hug by French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday as the duo arrived to jointly inaugurate the Bharat Innovates summit in France's Nice. The leaders also exchanged enthusiastic handshakes at the event. Bharat Innovates 2026 is a three-day innovation conclave bringing together startups and venture capital funds from India, France and other countries. PM Modi is scheduled to leave for Slovakia later on Sunday for the second leg of his ongoing two-nation trip.
