Prime Minister Narendra Modi met French President Emmanuel Macron in Mumbai, with discussions focused on deepening the India-France Strategic Partnership.

The two leaders are reviewing progress across key areas of cooperation and exchanging views on regional and global developments.

President Macron is in India on a three-day official visit at the invitation of PM Modi to attend the AI Impact Summit. This is his fourth visit to India and his first to Mumbai.

The talks are aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership and expanding collaboration into new and emerging domains.

Later today, they are expected to inaugurate the India-France Year of Innovation 2026. They will also address a gathering of business leaders, start-ups, researchers and innovators from both countries.
