00:09on the 955 episode of One Piece.
00:15So we begin the episode with Hiyori emphasizing the importance of Shusui to Wano. So as she already revealed to
00:29Zoro, it is the national treasure of Wano and when it was stolen, Wano fell into ruin.
00:39Interesting. So how was it stolen? And we know Zoro got Shusui from Ryuma at Thriller Bark. And so how
00:52did Gekko Moria manage to get Ryuma's corpse?
00:58And I'm having seriously questions about this. Like was Moria actually a part of Wano somehow? And by that I
01:07mean was it a usual you know pirate invading island things to collect treasure and stuff?
01:12Or did he actually live there as a resident? And whatever the reason was. So that's how basically Moria stole
01:25the corpse of Ryuma from Wano.
01:28That's the only possible explanation that makes sense. Otherwise how does Ryuma appear at Thriller Bark and Zoro gets to
01:36face Ryuma and he gets Shusui from Ryuma who acknowledged his abilities.
01:45And it's very interesting because Zoro actually became the same person to return Shusui back to Wano.
01:56So even though Moria stole Ryuma's corpse and his sword Shusui from Wano, it actually got returned to Wano through
02:09Zoro.
02:09So had Zoro and had the Straw Hats not appeared at Thriller Bark, this wouldn't have been possible.
02:16So the One Piece universe has a great way of making Straw Hats the heroes in every scenario, which is
02:25great.
02:27And then at Rasetsu prison, basically we see Hawkins is defeated and he's cut in half.
02:36And that signifies that Law has been using his abilities.
02:41But Law was being held a prisoner from what I can recall.
02:46So how did he manage to break free?
02:50And Hawkins basically tells that Scratchman Apu had been with Kaido all along.
02:58And basically he set Kid and Hawkins up.
03:03And Hawkins immediately submitted because of him looking at his chances of survival zero.
03:11And for that very reason he immediately submitted to Kaido.
03:16But Eustace Kid, obviously he is not going to submit to Kaido.
03:21And him and Killer battled Kaido.
03:23And that's how Kid ended up in the Udon prison.
03:27And his crew got enslaved by Orochi and Kaido.
03:33To the point where they would use Kid being held captive as the pressure point for his crew.
03:43And, you know, that would make them put a special killer in terrible situations, right?
03:51Because he had been going around and he had been doing the bidding for Kaido and Orochi as that swordsman.
04:03So basically Orochi had a killer working as Kamazo as an assassin and do Orochi's bidding.
04:14And obviously, so this now explains that Scratchman Apu was actually allied with Kaido all along.
04:26Because it seemed weird that Kaido suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
04:30So this kind of gives the explanation that Kaido is always looking for strong warriors.
04:37And naturally, someone as Eustace Kidd or Basil Hawkins, you know, people from the worst generation are your ideal candidates
04:48to be recruited.
04:49So at least we get some clarification on the history between these three men of the worst generation and Kaido.
05:02And then Law walks off and there is a figure standing right outside and Law tells him,
05:11I don't know what your plan is, but if it helps me escape free, then so be it.
05:17And we see a silhouette of this guy, but from what I could see, I think this guy might be
05:24ex-Drake.
05:25I don't see any other reason who else it could be because I was very suspicious of this guy from
05:32the beginning itself.
05:33Like, is he a good guy or what is, what are his actual motives?
05:38But he looked, for some reason, I don't know, but this guy looked very suspicious.
05:41So I'm not going to be shocked if it's ex-Drake indeed.
05:46Unless One Piece pulls some other kind of twist and obviously it's not ex-Drake and someone else.
05:51And then we head to Udon where Luffy is training Ryuo and, you know, we basically get some scenes of
06:02the collaboration
06:03between the complete alliance, between the Yakuza leaders, Hyogoro, Kinemon and everyone.
06:13And Kinemon tells every figure, important figure, who will be part of the raid on Onigashima,
06:21to add two legs to the stomach of the Viper in the, in that design which they have, the symbol
06:31of rebellion.
06:33And they do so and ultimately, and eventually, all of them understand what the new message is, that the port
06:42is now being shifted.
06:45And basically, so what the explanation was, the original symbol, which was the snake symbol, is synonymous with Habu port
06:55in Hakumai.
06:56So when you're adding two strokes to the snake's stomach, what happens is, it starts resembling like a lizard because
07:06of the legs.
07:07And that means that it is now Tokage port in Udon.
07:13Kinemon. So obviously, the locals in Vano, they are going to understand this.
07:20And when they, because, because of them being locals, they are naturally going to understand the message.
07:26Obviously, Nami is dumbfounded, but then Kinemon explains to her the whole thing about the animals being synonymous with the
07:34port names.
07:37And also, going back to the Rasetsu prison, the public cell, so the prisoners are still there despite Yasui taking
07:48the blame for the rebellion flyer being a prank.
07:52And the ones with the moon tattoos on their ankles or the ones who had that rebellion flyer being held
08:01captive are protesting that they should not be held captive and let go since Lord Yasui admitted to this being
08:09a prank.
08:10So why are they still being held captive?
08:12But Orochi's men are not still releasing them.
08:16Orochi is a freaking devious man, but he is also very sharp at these kind of things.
08:22For whatever reason, he's not letting them go.
08:24Like, he doesn't trust them completely.
08:27But I think it must be something else, man.
08:30Because from what I can understand is, him not letting these men go,
08:34there must be some sort of informant from the alliance that is relaying some information to Orochi.
08:46Otherwise, I do not see how he's still holding these people captive and how he got to Yasui.
08:54I don't know.
08:54I still feel like there is some sort of informant here.
08:59And then we have Scratchman Apu arriving in Vanu country.
09:03He is with the monsters called Numbers, and they are big giants, like crazy, crazy giants.
09:14And some children, they are watching that Scratchman Apu and his crew.
09:18They are coming with Numbers, and it is freaking...
09:21Obviously, they're terrified, their children.
09:23They're starting to cry and all that stuff.
09:26And then, surprisingly, Big Mom and Kaido, who are trying to kill each other, are basically friends.
09:34I mean, really?
09:35So, basically, they got it out of their system.
09:37And what they declare is, we are going to join an alliance.
09:42And they will join their powers, and they will dominate the world, take over the world.
09:47And then they will try to kill each other.
09:50So, basically, they are going to try to kill each other.
09:52But after they have taken over the world in a joint venture.
09:58Okay, that makes sense.
10:00Pirates being pirates.
10:02And I think this was a good episode.
10:05It kept building towards the raid in a good way.
10:09And Law being able to get the best of Hawkins,
10:17receiving help from the silhouette of a figure who was shown in the anime,
10:21which I'm assuming to be X-Drake.
10:23That was interesting to me.
10:25Because I didn't think that that would happen.
10:28But, obviously, I have my doubts and suspicions on X-Drake.
10:31Because, character-wise, you know, when you look at him on screen,
10:34he just doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would be a bad character in any way.
10:43It's like, I don't know what his motivations are for being in Kaido's crew right now.
10:49Hopefully, you know, we get more light on it down the road.
10:53But, I really want to see X-Drake's story more.
10:58And, the Akazaya 9 are almost back together, minus 2.
11:04And one of them is Danjiro.
11:05Now, Danjiro, obviously, to me, is looking to be the man, Kyoshiro,
11:12who saved Princess Hyori, right?
11:18And, he will be reunited with the Akazaya 9 sooner rather than later.
11:24And, Big Mom and Kaido joining forces is just crazy, man.
11:30I mean, think of this, one Yonko, whether it's Big Mom or Kaido,
11:36they're so hard to take down.
11:39And, now, they're joining this complete, they're joining complete forces.
11:45And, they will be unstoppable, man.
11:48But, one hope that I have for the Alliance is,
11:52because the Big Mom Pirates ship has still not managed to come to Wano,
12:00for that very reason,
12:01I think that there might be a chance of the Straw Hats and the Alliance, you know,
12:08they have this, at least, they have this advantage
12:13that the entire crew of Big Mom is not there on Wano yet,
12:19unless something changes, obviously, in the coming episodes.
12:23But, so far, I really enjoyed this episode.
12:26Big Mom and Kaido suddenly joining forces.
12:29That came as a shock to me.
12:30But, I would really like to see the history of Big Mom and Kaido being explored,
12:38now that we know that both of them were in the same pirate crew at one point in time.
