James Page 🄊 The Mighty Quinn

Born in Pittsburg, California, Page is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1990 to 2012. He held the World Boxing Association (WBA) Welterweight title from 1998 to 2000 and was promoted by Don King. Nicknamed "Mighty Quinn", Page turned pro in 1990 and beat Andrei Pestriaev via devastating 2nd round KO in 1998 to capture the Vacant WBA Welterweight Title. He defended the title three times, including a fight of the year contender against Jose Luis Lopez. At his peak, Page was considered to be one the premier punchers in the whole sport. He was stripped of his title in 2000 for failing to turn up for a mandatory title defense in Las Vegas. Page fought for the Vacant WBA Welterweight Title yet again, against Andrew Lewis in 2001 but lost via TKO in the 7th round and retired after the bout. His final record stands at 25-5 (19 KO's).
