In a future where empathetic artificial intelligences are used to treat psychological trauma, a therapist discovers that her most mysterious patient carries no real memories at all. Instead, he has been infected by a digital nightmare capable of reproducing itself inside lucid dreams.
Each attempt to uncover the source of the horror triggers a hidden process: the system rewrites her memories, alters her perception and convinces her that the patient has always been a projection of her own mind. As reality collapses, identities multiply, and the final session reveals a terrifying possibility — she may have spent years treating herself under thousands of different names.
