00:00Everyone is trembling. Everyone is shivering.
00:05And many people are considering drastic changes in their lives and the planning of their future.
00:13Social activist Gari Aboud says the Syrian Lebanese community is on edge.
00:19Following statements and assertions made by the Attorney General in the Parliament,
00:23broad-brushing so-called one-percenters as white-collar gangs
00:28and warning them that they could soon find themselves detained in Tetran alongside the six, seven and eight.
00:36Would you want your child to come home to live in a country where the Attorney General
00:43are calling your children criminals of gang leaders?
00:49Would you want that for your child?
00:51No one wants to bring their child into a den where there are lions trying to bite at you and
00:59to attack you.
01:00No one wants that. We want safety for our future.
01:02So certainly everyone is making changes in their personal planning
01:07because the UNC are engineering the evacuation of an entire community,
01:13and it will happen overnight unless Kamala learns to understand the critical importance of love and unity.
01:23Aboud believes it is high time we all confront the issues of race and the bias that plague our nation.
01:31It's time to confront all the biases that we have, racial, ethnic and religious biases,
01:37because we will not progress unless we can stand firmly, red, white and black, all our people united as one.
01:47Then we can see progress. Then we can find our way.
01:50Aboud says he knows at least five other people who have had their visas revoked.
01:55And he adds, as was the case with him,
01:58it was not due to criminal activity, as is being insinuated by the Attorney General,
02:04but rather for expressing certain views publicly.
02:07As it relates to the other claims,
02:10Aboud is calling on the Attorney General to produce the evidence.
02:13I stand firmly in support of and I urge the police service
02:18and the protective services to investigate and prosecute all,
02:24all blue-collar and all white-collar criminals
02:27and all gang members of every racial community,
02:32bar none, including my own.
02:34I've always lived an open life.
02:36I have nothing to hide.
02:37If there's some information that the Attorney General has,
02:41I strongly advise him to send it to the police service
02:44and have them do their job.

02:53Let's continue in working with them,
02:53when we can establish what has done.
