00:11during Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's official visit to Japan this week.
00:16Representatives from seven Malaysian companies sat down with executives from 27 Japanese firms in Tokyo
00:23to discuss businesses covering sectors including food, agriculture, commodity-based manufacturing and green technology.

00:50You need to have the right climate, you need to have the right geography and finally you need to have
00:55the right people.
00:56I think we have that ingredient in our country Malaysia because in terms of climate as I said
01:02the centrality of our country, the stability of our country ensure that Malaysia remains the premium destination for investment
01:12because we are friends to the world.
01:14In terms of geography, we are highly strategic in terms of our not only physical location but also our long
01:21-term trade relationship
01:23East, the West and of course the Southeast Asia region.
01:27And finally in terms of the human society, Malaysian society is famous for not only its strong industrialization
01:39because we are one of the earliest countries to be industrialized in that region, in the Southeast Asian region.
01:45But we are also known for language and cultural proficiency.
01:50I always say that when you come and do business in Malaysia, essentially you are doing business with the world.
01:57Beyond market access, the Ministry also said Bank Rakyat handed over close to 300 million ringgit
02:04in financing to the seven participating Malaysian companies to support business expansion,
02:10boost production capacity and fund new market exploration.
02:15The program builds on an earlier milestone where a similar business matching session was held in Saudi Arabia in February,
02:22which generated potential deals worth 2 billion ringgit.
02:34Thank you very much for joining us.
