Laetitia Obry from Gonsans, France, was filmed by her sister, Oceane, as she travelled two hours to the hospital to spend a precious 20 minutes with her mother before heading to her wedding.
The touching footage shows Laetitia entering her mother's hospital room in her wedding dress, prompting an emotional reaction as the pair embrace and share a heartfelt moment together.
According to Laetitia, although the journey was long and the visit was brief, it was a moment she could not miss on one of the most important days of her life.
A user shared: "My mother was hospitalized too. She cried, pleaded, and begged the doctors to let her leave for a few hours for my wedding. They agreed after she signed a medical waiver. She was able to stay until the cake cutting before returning to the hospital like Cinderella before midnight. It was magical."
