00:15I'm a theatre maker, an environmental artist. I'm passionate about making work about nature
00:22and climate change. Traditionally in theatre touring we've kind of like flown somewhere
00:27or drive a car somewhere. We just travel through places without maybe much engagement with the
00:33landscape there and this is a way of fully acknowledging investigating the land that I'm
00:40trying to talk about it's just been a very warm spring here so I actually find that it's been
01:06an exceptionally difficult time to travel. I actually ended up shifting to travelling at
01:13night time so I would because obviously a night freezes over on some nights I travel through the
01:19night and then sleep in the tent during the day just to try and get better travelling conditions.
01:27I got really caught yesterday I was up to my waist in snow it's all it's all rotting soft snow
01:36and it was I couldn't I couldn't pass through it and doing one kilometre over an hour it's exceptionally hard.
01:57I think my big question is is there a shift that we can undergo to
02:03make work not about nature but with nature? Maybe that seems stupid like can you make a show with a
02:10tree?
02:10I don't know. Perhaps right now it's a stupid question but in five years it might be a very viable
02:15and pertinent question. My hopes that you know maybe this project inspires some thinking or excites some people.
