Wrapping up her five-day visit to Palau, Taiwan Vice President Bi-khim Hsiao encouraged more Taiwanese tourists to visit the country, where she has overseen Taiwan-led development projects to support the local economy and infrastructure. She also thanked Palau for its staunch support for Taiwan's participation in international organizations.

00:05ally on the last day of her five-day trip to Palau.
00:42During the trip, Hsiao checked out some of the Pacific Island country's most famous natural wonders,
00:48learning more about how it's protecting its marine life.
00:51She also announced new initiatives to crack down on transnational crime rings that target Palau,
00:56and checked in on Taiwan-led development plans in the country.
01:01She said that helping Palau's economy was a key part of the two countries' cooperation.
01:30Hsiao says Taiwan is eager to show the successes of this partnership at the Pacific Islands Forum,
01:36which will be hosted by Palau in August.
