00:00We're here with the newly launched Oura Ring 5.
00:04So we're out with the old and in with the new.
00:08And the cool thing about this one is it's 40% smaller, adds new features like more detail
00:16about your blood pressure, more detail about your sleep, so it sort of veers on sleep apnea
00:21notifications and notifications if you have hypertension.
00:25But the coolest thing obviously is the size difference, closer to a wedding band than
00:31a smart ring, nearly the same size there and they've got some cool colors.
00:36For me, the generation over generation leap, that is the coolest thing.
00:40This is the first one, the first generation Oura from several years ago and the evolution
00:45from the 1 to the 2 to the 3, the 4 and to the 5 is just dramatic.
00:51It's just super thin and much lighter, 40% smaller overall volumetrically.
00:57But the coolest thing, I think, are the new health features where they're really stacking
01:02up against an Apple Watch and a Fitbit, but something in the size of the ring.
01:06What you do want to look out for is the price.
01:08The price of these rings now are closer to $400, $500 for the higher end finishes, putting
01:15you in Apple Watch price range.
01:17And so the big question, do you want something with a display, do you want something without
01:21a display, do you want something that can get your notifications?
01:24Because at the end of the day, the health metrics are going to be pretty uniform across
01:29things like Aura, Fitbit, and the Apple Watch.
